Arbor Pointe

My wife and i have lived at Arbor Pointe for one year, i am active duty military. The one bedroom apartment is a good size, nice layout and affordable. Maintenance and the Office Staff have always been friendly and responsive. We would recommend.

I love staying out of Arbor Pointe Apts, it's very quiet and the property manager and staff treats you like family. My only concern about living out here is that the kids don't have like a playground to play on and the laundry rooms needs a makeover because some of the washers and dryer don't even work have of the time plus I be wasting my quarters because sometimes my clothes don't seems clean. I just wish we can have our own washer and dryers that will be cool. But other than that Arbor Pointe is very clean and staff are the best and very friendly.

Easy on my budget. My first check pays my rent power and food. Second job takes care of the rest. The location is good. They is improving the property. Me my child live upstairs and we has hardwood floors. I am very happy to have a safe roof over my head. THANK YOU!

I’ve been living in these apartments a little over 7 months. This is my first apartment but it definitely did leave a bad taste in my mouth for the future. So where do I start. When I moved in there was this 1900 century ac unit which made my electricity bill over $200 ever month . They took 4 months to replace that . I’ve had a bubble on my bathroom ceiling for over 3 months I’ve called several times they come out and do absolutely nothing. Don’t know if there is mold or not mind you I have a 1 year old so very scary. The on-site laundry facilities are disgusting the windows are busted out half of the washer don’t work the floors are nasty and it stinks. If you plan on washing clothes I suggest a laundry mat. It cost more but definitely worth it compared to here.

My lease will be ending soon and i am renewing. Whats nice i do not have a car and the bus stop is very close. Maintenance is nice a bit slow sometimes. No complaints or problems.

I just moved into the apartment place about a month ago. So far so good, no issues or complaints. My apartment has new floors and cabinets installed. It actually looked better then the model showed to me. I'm a single mom and think its good for the money. The staff is good also.

I have a two bedroom, it has hardwood floors. Only thing I wished that they would allow pets.

Having been through a couple of moves and finally settling into Norfolk from out of state, i was pleased and happy to find Arbor Pointe. The property manager Mike help me after hours, i was rushing to get to the property and found the office door locked. It was almost 5:30. He came outside and asked are you Miss_________ and i said no, that i was looking for an apartment. He stated we are closed, however come on in and i'll get you the information. My daughter and I came into the office and he proceeded to give me information about the apartment community. The office lights were turned off and he provided me with a complete tour as if the office was open. After looking around at a couple of more communities, i settled on the property. It required me to call Mike and ask him additional questions. He was pleasant and gave me up front answers. I will be moving into Arbor Pointe within the next three weeks. I am so happy to finally have a place for me and my daughter.

I have lived at Arbor Pointe for 4 years. We have been through three management firms and i have to say that we have finally hit gold! This place is turning around. Management cares about this place, asking us to report items wrong in our apartments and cleaning up the place. Keep up the good work!

Despite this location has new management it is still the worse place ever. Maintenance never come when you put in work orders. There are holes in the floor that they refuse to fix. Called the city of Norfolk inspection department and they came and my apartment and building are not in code. They have a mold issue that they like to cover up by installing new vent covers. You should only live here if your on the verge of being homeless. This is not the type of environment you want to raise your kids in. The only two good reviews up here is by management. That’s why they say the same thing.

I live at arbor pointe going on three years end of this month. It's close to my job at Mcdonalds. They have done some nice things to this property the parking lot behind my building was redo and now you can see the parking spaces. They are coming in next week to install my upgrades for hvac hot water heater and stove. In my apartment i get spiders and water bugs, but the last place i lived they are there also. I call the office and speak with Lyndsey and she put me on the spray list. i'm a clean person, and don't have the problems. They talk about the hallways, we was told that they are upgrading them too. My hall was painted and this week they cleaned it.

I currently live out here and if you are looking to settle for a apartment thats in youre budget i suggest you look else where. The apartment in our unit has been vacant for months now but it has an awful foul odor that cause the unit to smell. Hall ways are awful full of bugs. A.c doesnt get the room cool . But it gets living room cold as crap. Maintenance do not do what they supposed to do when calling and put in order. This managment team who took over is the worst . Little do they know thats why a ton of people are moving out . Its not kid friendly no play park. No trees or real yard. The bugs *roaches* are a problem . Im just glad that my lease is up in april and i will not be returning.

I'm not sure what the first review talking about. I have lived at Arbor Pointe 3 years. This new management really taking care of us! New roof on my building, they cleaned up the grounds and NO trash outside. The new manager sent out a newsletter and it looks like they really care about the place. My place is clean NO ROACHES or bugs. I went into the office last week and spoke with the new manager Mr. Mike and he really care.
