The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Apple Creek
My mother lived in Apple Creek from 2007 to 2013. When she passed away, the staff was compassionate and understanding. When I sold my home, my daughter and I moved there. We have lived here twice and will again. The apartment manager is friendly and helpful. The entire staff are polite and willing to help. The maintenance dept. are on it when a work order is submitted. The grounds are well maintained and the outdoor work out equipment is a bonus. I highly recommend this complex. During the ice storm the apartment manager arranged for residents to be taken to a shelter and then brought slices pizza to those us who stayed. They really care about their residents.
Property Manager at Apple Creek, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your positive review about Apple Creek!
Heed all warnings about management. Not a good experience living here and unnecessary hassle
There is a reason that the tenant turnover rate is so high here. The manager is rude and disrespectful. We lived there for 13 years. It was a beautiful place until the current property managers took over. The manager thinks everything is fine if the grounds look attractive. Repairs are done on the cheap, so they wind up spending more money than they would have to do things correctly the first time. Dryers don't vent outside correctly, so moisture builds up in the laundry corner, and that leads to mold growth. The exterior walls are so poorly insulated that we found mold in many places. There are roaches galore, mice, and rats. I have seen apartments in housing projects that were better than these. Stay away. You will be ripped off in a big way if you don't.
We have lived here at Apple Creek almost a year, and are so happy to call Apple Creek home, that we decided to sign our lease for another year! The apartments are very nice and cozy. It's quiet and peaceful here, and the staff is extraordinary!
I couldn't be happier living here at Apple Creek! All one has to do is take a stroll through the meticulously maintained property or speak with the friendly, accommodating and professional staff to realize you've found "home!" I've NEVER lived at a place where there was so much emphasis on landscaping, both the lush lawns as well as the pretty flowers carefully placed throughout the complex. I can't say enough about the manager and her staff! Always ready to listen and help in any way possible, I have found the manager to be such a pleasant, personable and gregarious professional who will even show you her humorous side from time to time. My requests for maintenance have always been met with excellent response times and courteous technicians who don't leave until the job is complete. Tell me where else one can reside where the manager and staff host pizza parties, luaus, neighborhood nights and other themed events on a regular basis for its residents. They even go so far as to distribute bags of candy to each and every unit on Halloween! The staff is extremely approachable and proactive to the residents' needs, concerns and will even simply lend an ear when you need to vent about something totally outside the normal parameters. All of these "amenities", coupled with very reasonable lease rates make Apple Creek the PERFECT place to call home!
My husband and I lived at Apple Creek for 13 years. The first few years were nice. Management was friendly and eager to take care of maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. When the current management company took over, they brought on a manager who has an attitude problem. The community became cliquish, and the tenant and maintenance turnover rates are a reflection of how unpleasant the environment is because of the manager. Maintenance issues are taken care of in the cheapest possible way, and every time maintenance is forced to cut corners to save money, they wind up spending two or three times as much as they would have paid if things were fixed the first time correctly. Before we left, our building began to have an infestation of rats or mice. The manager put a trap outside, but that didn't fix the problem. She complained about plants that people put on their balconies and patios, but she never said a thing about irresponsible pet owners who let their pets leave their business all over the grass. She never complained about smokers who tossed their cigarette butts or all over the lawn or threw them off their balconies onto the patio of non-smokers below. This place will be awful until the current manager is replaced.
I currently live here. When we moved into a "remodeled" apartment (new sinks, carpet and flooring) the ceiling fan didn't work, the fire alarm didn't work, the stove was not plugged in, there are screws and nails in the grass and parking lot from the last roof replacement. The door handle is almost falling off the refrigerator . Our front door looks like someone tried to break in. The maintenance man is good. The 2 "ladies" working in the front are NOT customer service friendly. The first time we tried to look at the apartment, they said it was almost time for them to get off, and wouldn't have time.
This is a great apartment! Great price for the size. It's in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Great place to live!
Convenient, clean & an office staff that's accommodating to the needs of tenants
The apartments are extremely small and over expensive. The neighborhood seemed okay. The lady was kind of rude in my opinion. They are not the most friendliest people there.
They have a bug problem, the office staff: are so rude and disrespectful! All the apartments smell awful, as if no one has lived in them for year. parkling is okay, DO NOT leave anything in your car (even a cell phone charger ) because they will break into your car and take it, There are so many cats, it smell!!Maintenance is pretty decent. thats about it! I would not recomend anyone living here, please find some where else to live, this place is not a home!
