Nestled just west of Downtown Manchester and only six miles east of Hartford, Spencer is a centrally located community. Interstate 384 and 84 travel through the area, making commuting simple. Spencer is home to Manchester Community College and sits just south of Wickham Park. Families, students, and commuters call Spencer home and enjoy an array of apartments and houses for rent at a reasonable price point. Casual dining options, convenience stores, and an array of businesses reside in Spencer, but residents find the majority of their dining, shopping, and entertainment options in nearby Manchester or Hartford. Manchester’s Main Street is a short drive from Spencer and is lined with local restaurants and shops. To widen your options, check out the Shoppes at Buckland Hills off Interstate 84. Property Ratings at Apex One91
It’s peaceful here, nothing to worry about. Everyone keeps to themselves and nobody bothers anyone.
I had a great year at Apex One91. Management has been friendly and responsive. When I had non-urgent maintenance requests, the staff fixed the issues within a day or two. Central heating and cooling worked well. My building was constructed such that I could not hear my neighbors above me very much.
We applied on May 20th moved in May 22th, Quick and simple. It’s a quiet neighborhood. Nice apartment with great appliances, great room space, surrounded area is perfect. Should I say anything bad about it, the trash area there must be a different kind of garbage disposal in the near future.
When we first moved in, the management staff seemed to at least care a little bit. Since a new management company has taken over the trash and recycling are always overflowing, and they're blaming the tenants (not the fact that they won't get larger bins to accommodate the need). The laundry machines rely on internet to work and it's constantly crashing so you can't do laundry. The apartments themselves are fine but the hot water heaters are so small that you get a five minute shower or less before it gets cold.
Very quiet any time of the day. Amenities are great and the staff seem to be responsive relatively fast to any issues. Highly recommend.
I love the apartment itself and the entire property but when there is an issue nobody seems to get back to you and fixing things seems to take a lot longer than normal. Communication is always important and unfortunately that's not something that really happens here. Day 4 of no central air and 83° is not enjoyable at all.
I moved in right before Christmas. When I applied, building 3 was going to be occupied at the end of January. But management was able to get permission to move in earlier. I love my studio. It's quiet and light here. This is a smoke free property which I really appreciate. The process of signing the lease and moving in went as smoothly as possible. My property agent Krystal is always in touch I use several applications for payment, service, remote climate control, opening the barrier. It's fancy and easy. This is my very first home in the US and I am happy to live here.

Even after our application was approved they would still not let us sign the lease and kept saying it'll be done on the day of move in. Finally did not let us move in 2 days prior to our move in date. Had to find a different apartment in a hurry and pay lot higher simply coz they will not let us move in.

The entire property is under construction and we are not allowed to occupy any units until we receive an approval from the Fire Marshal and Town Inspector of Manchester. Once we are approved we notify all prospects of they're move in date, we are sorry but delays do happen but we would never not let you move in. If you are not happy with your new place we will be happy to discuss finding you a new home here at Apex One91.
