Spacious and beautiful apartment, all newly renovated.Management and maintenance staff do an awesome job in keeping tenants needs met.Tenants are friendly and for the most part very quiet.
As a new resident to Anacostia Gardens I can honestly say that when I called the emergency number for maintenance someone responded right away and got the ball rolling to get the job done. Also the ladies in the office are very nice and professional at all times, I must say that I'm happy to be a resident at Anacostia Gardens and I love my apartment.
I have been a resident of Anacostia Gardens for 3 months and so far I love it. My apartment is very spacious and was completely renovated.No mice ,bugs or roaches so far. Neighbors are very kind and friendly with a few exceptions.The overall condition in the complex is very good and its only getting better day after day.only problem is the shootings in the neighborhood every now and then
I love Anacostia Gardens!! There is no people just standing around the entrance of the buildings, the neighbors are soo kind, the team in the rental office is the absolute BEST, and my apartment is soo cozy, nice and up-to-date. No complaints at all. This community is very nice but what put the cherry on the cake for me is the kindness that is shown in the rental office! My unit is also a very good size as well!
I love love my apartment.its a newly renovated unit and they did a wonderful job,the rooms are huge. The master bedroom can fit 2 queen beds and still have room to move around. The neighbors are so quiet that you may think you the only one on the floor and when you get to meet them in the hallway they be killing you with kindness. I love it here so far

Its going to be 5yrs I've been here Nov 2015. It was not that bad I. The first year. Since then. Ive had numerous pest issues, mice, wasps, ants. Etc. My maintenance team is awesome and I rely trust him. Ms. Chin in the office is like an Aunt as well. Her and the maintenance getting done and taking seriously is probably the only reason I have been able to tolerate staying her. The people who live in the builder are disgusting. Leaving cigarettes butts all over as well as sleeping in stairwells and etc. The building has had at least 5 managers since I've been here. My rent goes up every year but there are no changes or enhancements being made to the building. A new company has purchased the building from the owner. Hopefully this will be the turnaround the building needs or I will need to move.
I normally don't give reviews but first let me say not my cup of tea under new management for the 3rd time in one year while this time is the last they are planning to do a full renovation but I probably will be gone by then.
