Altitude Apartments East ( Ferndale 28 LLC)

Since first moving in, it's been surprisingly how poorly constructed everything in the apartment is. From windows that won't stay open, mirrors falling off and shattering, to torn screens, to the bathroom ceiling caving in and a yellow substance leaking out of the walls, to very thin walls that don't hide any noise whatsoever, to gaps between the walls/floors where insects come from, it's been nothing but a frustrating experience. Despite paying high amounts for heating that doesn't allow you to set your own temperature, the apartment feels like a sauna in the winter. There's been a used needle for months in the parking lot. You'd be a lot happier living elsewhere.

Been living here a month, the toilet flooded the third day, the kitchen cabinets broke the first week, my bathroom ceiling fell through the second month/yellow substance leaking, the walls are super thin/so you can hear your upstairs neighbors very clearly, and most recently, my air conditioner is leaking on the inside. I’ve submitted over 5 maintenance requests since I’ve moved in. Seems like the problems never end.

Maintenance can’t keep up with ongoing issues of an older building. It took them several months to fix issues that were severe. I’ll save you depression. Don’t move here..

Apartments are nice. I like how close it is to downtown royal oak and birmingham. New renovated units are nice.
