Altana

I've been in Altana for only a couple of months, and during this time I've had two issued for maintenance and the services was excellent. Thank you!

Altana is great place for living. It’s very quiet here for my family. Walls are well insulated. Very peaceful here. Location is also important for me. You have local access to many restaurants and retail stores.

Altana has been great to be my first experience in California. Its in a great location. The management team is phenomenal on taking the feedback and implementing it.

I called and asked about 1 bedroom. Rep said they didn’t have any have available. I asked about pricing and was told depends on my income. She said she has a studio available and put me on hold. I make $132k a year salary plus bonus which last year came out to $260k in total earnings. I think that’s respectable… The rep came back and told me I didn’t qualify. I also have over 750 credit score.. Doesn’t make any sense. Poor service and if my credit score and earnings declared over the phone don’t qualify??? Ridiculous

The apartment is modern, sleek and amazing. The amenities are outstanding. The leasing professionals I have met and interacted with so far (Liz, Andrea, Jessica and Chris) are all so helpful and get things handled.

Beautiful and nice building, very safe and clean. I enjoy every day leaving my experience.

I Love living at Altana, because I love my apartment is Lis helped me with the whole process from showing me apartments to choose to completing the application. I don't have any problems in here, other than guest parking process. I'd want to be called on my phone when a guest arrived and my guest to be guided where the elevator is and which way to get to my apartment, so every-time I don't have to go down. I love how they clean everywhere in the building everyday including the outside, inside, elevators amenity areas. The security could be better and have more responsibilities to keep the building safe. The security we have does not look like a security.

Extremely poor management. Extremely poor customer service. Management and leasing agents cant care less about customer experience. They are rude, unprofessional and dont listen to customer. Extremely poor customer experience.

Living at Altana has been a relaxing and refreshing experience. The Glendale neighborhood is safe, quiet, and a balanced mix of downtown experience mixed with residential living. The amenities are clean, modern, and rarely busy. The apartments are pretty sound-proof, ensuring privacy between neighbors. Key fobs at every door are an added safety measure. Additionally, leasing staff is quick to help if there are any issues. They remember the residents and make the experience personal.

Altana has some really great qualities but also some things that could be improved upon. The cleaning team definitely deserves a raise! They keep the trash shoots clean and properly maintained as well as the hallways and community spaces! Also they always have such a great and positive attitude whenever I come across anyone on the team. My negatives about the community are pretty minor in comparison to other places I have rented from in the past. The management team does a great job with monitoring the noise and parking/towing issues that arises. Andrea is truly a gem on the management staff and I now make it a point to go to only her when I have an issue!

My son and I just moved to Altana, and could not be happier. The place is beautiful, clean and has a lot of amenities. Dulce was my leasing agent and she made the process so easy and basically took care of everything. I cant wait to make this our home for a long time. Thank you Altana

We are extremely happy about the experience we have . Elizabeth and Adrienne from the leasing office are very helpful and professional. They attended any issues related to maintenance or lease immediately. Very impressed

It's good for living. They have a good maintenance team, but I have been having a parking issue every week. And management doesn't care once Residence moves in. Response is the worst.

Would never live here again and would not recommend this place. Residents are disrespectful to their neighbors and have no regard for being courteous to others. The building material is cheap and therefore walls are thin and noise from neighbors is easily heard at all hours such as music being blasted, dogs barking nonstop, etc. People are constantly parking wherever they want and letting their pets defecate in shared spaces. Management does nothing and at times are condescending and rude. They never follow up on issues I raise and so I have to bring it up multiple times for any action to be done.

I like being a part of the Altana community. The buildings are safe and secure. It's super clean and quiet. The apartments are absolutely gorgeous, comfortable, and airy, and the amenities are the best in Glendale.

Altana is a wonderful community and it is a truly a pleasure to live there.

I would not recommend this apartment building to anyone I know. The residents here are awful and management is struggling to maintain a healthy good environment.

construction noise, no picking up of phones, no access to amenities

Altana Apartments is the most beautiful 2 building high-end complex in Glendale. Its super safe and secure to live here. Both buildings are very neat and clean. The amenities are amazing, and I love living in my charming and bright apartment.

The building is great, we had been residents here a few years ago and loved it, so when we moved back to town, Altana was our first choice. But the management team work quality wasnt at the level we remember: - Application process took abnormally long time - applied on Monday and got approved only on Friday(there were no issues during the process, delay was caused by the management team) -Our in-person maintenance requests seemed like were not logged and never handled, only submitting them on resident portal we got things moving (maintenance crew was great - timely and high quality work)

Nice apartment homes, but unfortunately the staff is not helpful.

The best thing is the location if you live on the courtyard side. Anywhere else is too loud and the views of old unkept buildings on the West side of the building is an undesirable location.

The prices are super unreasonable for the quality of apartments were getting, for the parking which is not available. Again, two adults in a household and one parking spot?

The worst management ever. If you talk to them respectfully, they ignore you. You have to yell at them to get what you want. They do not deserve respect.

Building is beyond beautiful. The staff is beyond lackluster.

I wouldn't suggest moving here. They have not offered any concessions for the fact that every amenity is closed even though they are offering new residents SIGNIFICANT rent reductions and concessions. The building is not managed well.

I would recommend anyone to live in this building.

Altana Apartments has greedy owners(GreyStar) who during a global pandemic did nothing to help the people who live here.

Management is a disaster. Avoid at ALL costs.

Building, Apartments, Amenities are all great. Management with the exception of Brenda is lacking/poor. When speaking to other individuals at the front desk, seems as though they don't care and that our issues are not a priority.

The Altana Apartments are beautiful and amenities are awesome. But management has become a problem and makes the complex not seem as luxurious. They've lost a handle on things. The apartments were worth the price before but now, I would say there's room for improvement. Location is great though!!

I have been living in Modera Glendale, and I am really happy with the excellent maintence service and the leasing group all of the are really nice. Also it has a perfect location because there is a freeway near Modera and the Mall is nearby as well.

I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone - although the amenities look nice, the whole experience is so not worth it! The staff workers are extremely rude and ignorant, they don't help in anything. Especially, Brenda, Stephanie and Ngozi from the office are very ignorant and show no care about any situations and not willing to help. I moved out just a month ago, and they are not even trying to help with the deposit check saying I am not a resident anymore! Excuse me?! I was a resident for a year and half, the experience was terrible, but even when I moved out, they make it a problem again! Awful experience, wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all!

Go see other places. Come live here if you need frustration and suffering on top of your daily life. I think the 1-star reviews are all realistic, and 5-satr reviews are all fake or biased. The front desk is absolutely rude and unprofessional. They lie and lie when you visit them at first. They have no respect for the tenants. I think management could do a better job of hiring one or two professional staff instead of hiring a group of weird ignorant people. If they want unhelpful untrained staff with no functionality they can easily pay to buy a few cheap robots or AI to interact with poor tenants. Luxury is just a big joke!!! way expensive for the quality and service. Hallways stink because no one takes care of the trash rooms. No need to mention the nightmare of parking issues. I would give a negative star if it was possible!!!

The floor plan and facilities of Altana are amazing.

I haven’t even seen the apartments yet and I already don’t like this place. They don’t answer the phone, they don’t return phone calls, there is no parking for the leasing office or on the street. I was so irritated by the time I parked at Burger King I was no longer interested. I felt unwelcome before even having been introduced. I’m grabbing a tea while I calm down. If I decide to brave a visit I will update this review.

I have friends living in Altana Apartments and they were trying to get me to move there as well. I was impressed with the level of amenities and how well kept the entire place was, from the pools to the gym and common areas. Scott was the agent that showed me around and he was super responsive. From when I started going there at my friends house to now, I can tell the community is definitely going through some changes for the better and it shows the new patrol has made things safer for the tenants as well as the maintenance and cleaning department are also doing a great job!

Visited the Altana apartments with my boyfriend where we were given a tour by Scott. He showed us the facilities and took us through the process, it was all very simple. The amenities were great and we love using the roof top hot tub!

My boyfriend and I have lived at Altana since it’s inception. We’ve seen the turnover and management and truthfully it was a mess, more like a free for all in a way. Luckily we’ve come to a point where management is here to stay, thanks to Scott. Since Scott has been at this community, all of the residents that believed they can do what ever they want, have come to a crashing halt. Some examples of those residents thinking they were above the law were, being noisy and nuisance outside of quite hours, smoking freely (cigarettes and marijuana) not only in their apartments but in community areas for all residents to use, having parties on the roof top past hours of operation, and residents using a system of different cars to park in other people’s parking spot so that its more convenient (closer) for them (loading and unloading). That list is just to name a few. What I’m trying to get at is that the residents here felt like they owned the place because they apparently have money to afford rent and trampled over management because for some reason management before had no back bone to enforce the very rules in the contract every resident signed. I’m pretty sure you’ve read all of the complaints from the numerous 1-3 star reviews. Granted there are some problems that they’re actively working on, but in the grand scheme of things this apartment complex checks all the boxes of being luxurious. Amenities break down, that’s a fact, the great news is we have some one in management whose really going to work for the Altana community, all thanks to Scott. In all honesty Scott has really gone above and beyond when it comes to handling any issue big or small. You don’t find many people like that with such a great attitude and understanding. For future residents ask for Scott!

We’ve been a resident of altana for about 2 and a half years. You can’t beat the location, amenities and how the living space is. All top notch and hands down beats all other apartment complexes in the area. Now we’ve been through a hand full of management changes since the beginning so a lot of the reviews below have some truth to it. I just want to make a note that since we’ve been here most of the management we’ve dealt with wouldn’t enforce what the contract and policy states such as making the building a smoke free community, quite hours from 10pm to 8am, cleanliness of the trash chutes, parking organization etc. I mean let’s be reasonable, reviews stating that the pool was 24hrs or that it was open any later than 10pm obviously never read their contract. And for those that wanted to talk about parking for residents in the guest/future resident parking spaces must be smoking that good stuff because if it isn’t in your contract, it ain’t happening. As you can tell, reading those reviews relating to any of the above are those residents that feel entitled and think they can get away with anything and try to intimidate others especially intimidate previous management to get their way. Well I’m glad to say there’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Scott. Since he has joined the Altana community, changes have been made for the better. For once we have someone in management that has excellent customer service and enforces all the policies that are in the contract we’ve signed. It’s nice to open our windows and walk down the hallways and not have to smell cigarette buds, weed residue or hookah all the time. Not to say you might not smell it from time to time but don’t hesitate to let Scott know and I’m pretty sure you won’t have a problem with it going forward. And that goes with any issue you may have.

Stay away from this complex. What you pay for this disgusting apartment is not worth it at alll. My car was vandalized inside the parking lot and they didn’t do anything.

Two rooftop pools, spas, and decks and two top-of-line gyms within walking distance of downtown!
