We love it here! Our apartment is beautiful, everyone here has been so nice and there are so many great amenities like the food trucks. We highly recommend The Alston to everyone looking to rent.

I love my apartment, the staff know who I am and the maintenance team is attentive. My suggestions for the future remain the same— visible security, regularly accessible doggy bags (even on weekends) and constant upkeep of the pool (I spend every weekend there in the summer and people are always complaining that it’s not clean).

Facilities are clean and well maintained, units are spacious and comfortable. Once my renewal becomes available I’ll definitely extend my lease.

Very happy with my experience! Super dog friendly and lots of wonderful events. Looking forward to having the pool open and live music on weekends over the summer.

Everyone that works at Alston is so friendly!! We have had the best move in experience. Every common area is very clean and well kept up with. We are excited to live here!

5 year old apartments still hold up pretty well. close to highway, and nice amenities. Attentive staff with some social events. If you can afford underground parking, do it, because surface is a rat race.

Have not been here long. However, our experience is great here. Between the professional staff and easy onboarding, very quiet and quick handling of issues. No complaints.

I cannot recommend this community enough. I have been here for 4 years, and could not be happier. I have gone from a 1 bedroom, to a 2 bedroom, and now to a townhome, and have been happy with every single one. Every member of the staff is attentive and caring, whether they are new or senior staff. Pat especially has been there for us through every move, he and the rest of the staff are rock stars!

I’ve been living in this apartment community for a few months now, and I’m very happy with my decision to move here! The staff, especially Kerry, have been incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire process, making me feel welcome from the start. The apartment itself is great—well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The community events they host have also been a nice way to meet people and feel connected. The only downside is the parking situation, which can be a bit challenging at times. However, the overall experience and quality of life here more than make up for it. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a new place to call home!

Great staff from the front office to maintenance. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is there could be a little improvement in repairing outside issues in a more timely manner but all in all indoors and personal residence they exceed my expectations.

I recently moved into the Alston, and overall, I'm thrilled with my new home! The leasing team was incredibly helpful and patient, especially since I was a first-time renter. They answered most of my questions and guided me through the process. However, there were a few instances where it took some time to get clarification on certain details, and my move-in day wasn't as seamless as I had hoped. Despite those minor hiccups, I'm thoroughly enjoying my experience at the Alston. The pet-friendly community is a game-changer for me and my dog! The pet services and amenities are top-notch, and I appreciate the effort the team puts into hosting events that foster a sense of community. The property itself is stunning – always clean and well-maintained, with a luxurious feel. While there's room for improvement in terms of communication and move-in logistics, I'm grateful for the Alston team's hard work and dedication. I'm excited to meet new neighbors and make the most of my time here!

The Alston is a wonderful place to live. It feels like its own community. The management and maintenance are responsive and helpful. It is truly the way to rent!

This has been one of the greatest places to live. They are on top of routine maintenance, it's a safe community, and now with the build up of station yards it's the perfect mix of peaceful isolation with the ability to walk right towards the action of we choose.

We love living at Alston. It has been lovely being apart of this community. The staff in the leasing office are wonderful. We love utilizing the gyms which are super clean and great equipment.

Anazing staff, they were super helpful and kind and they take care of you. The place is also really nice and was just what i was looking for.

Minus the parking it’s been a good experience. I feel at home here and most neighbors are super nice. There’s so many events to attend and food truck options.

Amazing experience, the staff are always available and the building is nice and clean. Very well organized mail service and the service crew are quick to resolve issues when needed.

Parking for our guests is atrocious even though we pay for both cars to park in the lot on top of the ridiculous amount we pay for rent, neighbors smoking marijuana and we can smell it in our apartment.

We love living here! Apartment unit is very spacious and clean. The grounds are really pretty and we feel safe here. We love the food trucks and events as well.

Overall the apartments are very nice. The maintenance staff is great and usually prompt. The parking situation could improve and be enforced more, however.

So far, so wonderful!! There is so much to do with no pressure - it almost reminds me of a college town vibe with restaurants and bars close by. Best part is it isn’t in your face (even Friday and Saturday nights are quiet) but it is available and constantly updating! Keeps it exciting to live here!!

New to the building love the place so much, it’s a beautiful spot and everything in the front lobby is so nice and helpful. I can’t wait to see the place in the spring and summer time.

The roach situation seems to be under control now thankfully. The parking situation is still a nightmare. I often get home from work late at night and there are no spots. We need assigned spots based on seniority of who has lived here the longest and select them. This is the only solution.

The amenities, space and staff are amazing. But the parking is absolutely terrible especially since you have to pay, makes it feel like you have a curfew just to get a spot close to your apartment.

We just moved into the community, and we have loved every minute of it. Between the people in the community, the staff in the front office. We love the events that are held in the community, we tried the food trucks, coffee trucks, etc. The community rooms are always clean and when we have guests over it is a fun place to unwind from the apartment and host our guests.

We enjoyed the few years we lived at the Alstons, the planned events were always a good time and always had good food truck options. Maintenance were always quick to check in.

We have been here since April and couldn’t be happier! The Office staff along with the maintenance staff are amazing!!!! We love it here!!!!

Great apartment complex. Management and maintenance are always so attentive and ready to help with whatever you need. Everyone who works here is so sweet and welcoming. The amentities are always clean and so is the complex itself!

We are still so happy living at Alston. Despite issues we’ve had maintenance has been great with coming and fixing whatever we need. The food trucks are such an added bonus on busy days when you don’t want to cook. I love having a gym on the ground level of my building and taking advantage of the pool on these hot days

I have been living here for about 10 months now. The complex is riddled with terrible parking. Cars are illegally parked everywhere and management does nothing about it. Furthermore, you must pay for parking and have a permit, but I would say 2 out of every 5 cars do not have a permit, yet management does nothing about this. The EV parking is atrocious and on a first come first serve basis which would be fine but there are a lot of PHEVs that hog the spot for multiple days. The worst thing about the parking may be how residents drive in it. Often times, blowing stop signs and speeding through it. No care for others. Maintenance is awful. No timeline on when they will come, regardless if you ask or not. There have been multiple times where I have had to call the desk and ask why maintenance has not come yet. The appliances are cheap and prone to issues. The apartments otherwise are nice and in a good location, but the price, ineffective management and borderline dangerous parking make this a place to avoid.

The move-in process was seamless. However, there are a few things I wish had happened, such as: - i wish the walkthrough was done with an agent, so we can look at everything together. it seems a bit overwhelming to unpack and have to complete the form in a timely manner. - i wish i was informed to buy lighting fixtures or lamps for the bedrooms and living room. arriving home and flipping switches was a bit alarming until i figured it out myself. - the hallway carpet outside my door is stained and it wasn’t as welcoming as I’d hoped.

I was apprehensive about apartment living but the Alston goes out of its way to make residents feel at home. It is quiet and neighbors are respectful. I love it here!

The summer is hot but i am glad the apartment complex has good AC system! Plus, i always receive my packages and mails. I haven’t lost or had a hard time to find my deliveries.

Overall great place to live. Love the amenities here, when we were looking for a place we wanted a in-unit washer dryer, gym near by at least. We loved the public spaces in Alston. The maintenance staff has been really great about fixing things in a timely manner whenever we put in work orders.

It's been four months since we moved into Alston. There are many pros but also a few cons. Overall, it's been a good experience. Without further ado, the pros are - cleanliness, safety, great staff, maintenance, leed certified bldgs, club rooms, and social activities. the cons are - not enough parking space, fire alarms going off once every month, missing certain machines in the gym like leg press and actual squat racks (wished it was bigger). It's still one of the best apartments in the area but it could use some improvements to retain their tenants.

There are a lot of good things about living here. For the most part, amenities and appliances work well despite some of them being lower quality than what I originally expected. The maintenance crew is PHENOMENAL, so if something needs attention, they’re there quickly and kindly. Location is very convenient, will be even better once the new restaurants are up and running. Overall, we are satisfied. We appreciate having only the bedroom and closet with carpet, it keeps more of the house clean and looking fresh. AC and full laundry in your apartment is the best case scenario, particularly when you’ve come from a place that doesn’t, so we enjoy it. It can be frustrating to observe that Alston does not always follow their own reinforcement rules (i.e parking illegally, pet waste pick-up, etc.). I do wish there was more attention to the outdoor cleaning/maintenance: the porches get very dirty very quickly & cushioned seating in the community areas outdoors are moldy.

Overall good, but there’s a few issues. I feel that with how much we pay in rent, these issues should not exist. For example, the hallways smell of trash because we are told to leave it in the hallway and have to pay for it to be picked up. There could definitely be a better process for this. The hallways are also kept very warm in the summer, leading to high AC costs and pests. Lastly, people do not pick up after their dogs. This should be better enforced. Again, overall I’ve loved living here but these issues could be fixed so easily.

Lovely pool. 4 year old building. Good maintenance. Close to highway. Parking is problematic at present but you can purchase guaranteed underground for additional cost. Otherwise, it's first come first serve for surface parking, which can be dicey.

An amazing complex to live in. Everyone is super nice and aware of eachother. Everything is clean and well maintained. The amenities are beyond expectations too.

Very spacious and gorgeous apartments. The staff and maintenance team are lovely. Just the parking needs to be better, especially since there’s a monthly fee to park.

After living here for 6 months, I can definitely say that these apartments are not worth the price. Staff is nice enough but maintenance is a bit lacking. My unit is on the top floor and there's a leak in the ceiling, been there since I moved in. They still haven't fixed the roof! The provided appliances are the cheapest I've ever used, worse than Hot Point. The oven takes 25 minutes to reach 400. The washer is so small you have to do a minimum of 3 loads a week. The matching small dryer won't fully dry clothes due to the sensor reading them as dry. Maintenance can't fix that problem and management doesn't care (won't even let you provide your own laundry machines). Hope you aren't a hot sleeper, the thermostat is locked to 68 and only reads from a rather shady spot far away from windows. It's almost as if there was no consideration for units with windows facing west. Right now, I have no intention of renewing my lease. The area is nice though, 5 minute walk to the train.

Amazing!! Love every part of this place so far! We just moved in yesterday and we have been pleasantly surprised with almost everything this are has to offer. Staff is amazing, so close to the train station you could walk easily without it being too noisy. The apartments themselves are insanely nice and modern.

I am thoroughly enjoying my experience. The Alston is a great place to live. This place is a great living choice for anyone looking for a getaway experience right from home. It’s conveniently located by a lot and yet still peaceful and serene.
