Alara made it happen. My entire apartment hunt was done virtually including touring and signing of the lease. Alara’s leasing agents provided me every piece of information I needed to make an informed decision every step of the way. The community is quiet, the building is comfortable, and any amenity you would need is available. The floor plan I selected is perfect. Such a great utilization of space. The rent prices are extremely competitive for what you are offered. The building is steps from Union Station which is so convenient for commuting to work. There are numerous restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, a barber shop, everything I need in walking distance. There’s literally a grocery store on the first floor with a private entrance!

My experience here has been excellent. The leasing office is communicative and helpful. The building is nice, fantastic location above the King Soopers. I'm in love with my unit. Spacious parking garage. It's not perfect but there's a lot to love.

Alara is a great place to live! The location is optimal for access to the highlands as well as anywhere in downtown Denver. The apartments are nice, good quality, and all staff is very friendly and responsive. Maintenance is always quick in responding to concerns or issues. We lived there near 2 years and cannot say enough good things about our experience. It's an excellent location with an easy walk to RTD trains and Coors Field.. The neighborhood is filled with excellent restaurants, bars, shopping and cafes. The building itself offers a fabulous pool, gym, underground parking and community rooms. The entire staff is professional, friendly and immediately responsive to any resident's needs. We highly recommend The Alara Union Station if you're seeking the city living experience.

Maintain the building and the units better. Don’t believe this is a luxury complex. We meet great people in the halls on occasion, but have little interest in the events, mainly because of the disappointment with upkeep. Only two events have caught our eye. The others, not really attractive or interesting.

The Alara is a great building, tucked into a neighborhood that is just off highly used streets but still a quick walk to union station. Great access to public transit and I25. Helpful and friendly front staff, great amenities and lots of convenient services. We really like the layout of our unit and think the price of rent is good for everything you get. Special shout-out to Jon at the front desk for making our move-in easy and for answering our many questions!

While a little on the pricey side its amenities and location can’t be beat. Just a short walk to entertainment venues, food, shopping and so much more while also being in walking distance to union station makes it a no brained for people new and old to the city to move to.

Alara Union Station is a fantastic option for city living. So close to everything including the train station, baseball field, and many bars. Love having the gym to get my workouts in and its so convienent having the grocery store under us.

Alara union Station is a fantastic community. In my short time here I have felt at home from the very moment I stepped through the doors. The leasing team, managers, and maintenance staff are top notch. It's the easiest thing to pop in a a maintenance request online and know that it will be taken care of within a few business days. Alara at Union Station is among the top apartments in downtown Denver. The layouts are well thought out and spacious, with fairly modern designs. The amenities are above average compared to similar buildings in the LoDo area - plus, living on top of a grocery store cannot be beat. The staff equally excellent. They are all friendly and responsive and quick to help out. Furthermore, the overall cost is a lot cheaper than many of the other options around LoDo and LoHi. My only suggestion for someone looking at Alara is to consider the noise from the utility plant across 19th street. If you choose an apartment facing the utility plant, there will be some noise. Otherwise, we have never once heard noise or received noise complaints from anyone in the building.

The was the perfect choice for me to have great amenities, location, and a beautiful updated apartment for a good price. The staff here is very helpful and approachable, they respond quickly to any inquiries. The entire complex is in great condition and stays relatively quiet despite being right in downtown! Great location

Pros: Nice apartments, extremely convenient location, with friendly/helpful staff. Its nice to have an included gym, bank, restaurant, pool, grocery store, pharmacy and pet store all in the same building. It feels pretty safe despite the number of homeless outside in proximity to union station (security is usually around). I like my unit a lot - the bocce courtyard is generally pretty quiet. A couple cons: I can somewhat hear my upstairs neighbors/their dog at times. Valet trash is a huge con- people leave their trash out all the times/ the valet people can be picky, recycling bins aren't provided so they sometimes wont take it if i threw it in a paper bag unless its fully sealed. Also the pool is lovely but a hot tub would be a huge perk.mjk

The location is great, people who work here are pleasant. The facility is ill-maintained and management has no control over vendors causing long delays in repairs.

I have lived at Alara for ~18 months now, and I truly enjoy it here. The leasing and maintenance staff are wonderful - they remember me, my pup, and seem to truly care about creating an enjoyable environment to live in. Issues are generally handled promptly and after one request, which is a huge improvement from my past apartment!

I have no regrets about moving to alara Union station. Everything I want to do is within walking distance or a quick trip down the highway which we have multiple access points within a block. A bar and a grocery store are our bottom floor, and now a breakfast restaurant as well as a dispensary are next door. If you put in a greenhouse/ plant shop I'd never have to leave the building.
