DO NOT MOVE HERE!! I'm currently being charged for no 60-day notice AND termination of a lease even though I discussed with these people a THREE MONTH LEASE after my original 12 month lease so that I had time to continue searching for a home to purchase! Plus, MY WHEEL AND TIRE WERE STOLEN IN THEIR PARKING LOT DAYS BEFORE THIS HAPPENED!! I TOLD THEM AND THEY DON'T CARE AND DON'T EVEN HAVE CAMERAS!! Not to mention the roaches, shower water that oscillates between burning hot and freezing cold, smells from other apartments that creep into your own, office phone that rarely, if ever, gets answered... I TOOK A HALF DAY OF PTO TO DEEP-CLEAN THE APARTMENT IN TIME, AND THIS IS HOW I'M BEING TREATED! THESE EXPENSES ARE RIDICULOUS AND UNNECESSARY, ESPECIALLY ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE! I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE FOUND A WAY TO MOVE OUT AFTER MY 12 MONTH LEASE WAS UP! RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY!!!
Pros: None. Cons: They will tow you for no reason. Roaches and garbage everywhere. Broken appliances that take months to fix, including AC in the summer. Rude, condescending, and just plain awful mgmt. Car will be broken into, no secure parking. Packages will be stolen. Entire building reeks of weed, no one cleans up after theirs dogs so all the grass has poop in it. Turning off water with no notice, cutting internet with no notice. Laundry stolen out of the washers or dryers. Loud neighbors screaming and fighting every night. Sirens all day. The worst apartment I've ever lived in.

Pros: it's about a 15 min commute to Downtown Dallas, near lots grocery stores and restaurants, and maintence staff is quick to respond. Cons: Location is off very busy highway (the noise is unbearable), residents are dirty and smoke weed often (your unit will smell of weed), parking lot is tight, unsafe area (lots of foot traffic and homelessness near by), no security system or gates, office staff and management are hard to get in touch with if there is ever an issue, etc.. If you are a current resident make sure to read the fine print in your lease agreement (60 days move out notice is a must otherwise you will be charged a new months worth of rent.. I made the mistake reading over this and putting in my 30 days and was charged a ridiculous amount. lesson learned!)

Leasing office is fully of sassy annoying people, one guy in particular thinks hes king of the world and is just miserable to talk to because of his attitude. It takes the leasing office a million years to respond to anything. They are currently putting residents at risk of getting coronavirus because they have locked all the doors that lead to the machine to refill the laundry cards, except for the one that leads straight through the leasing office, making social distancing impossible. This place sucks. Dont live here.

Cons: Noise - I can hear my neighbors every moment of every day. In addition the tenants are loud and it sounds like a wrestling match. Property manager has been unable ir unwilling to fix it. Parking - there are abandoned, broke down vehicles all over the property. There is one with flat tires in front of the package facility for months. Storage - bathroom and kitchen storage is insanely small. You can hold to enough food in the pantry for a week, maybe two. "Gated" - it had a gate but it's always open 24/7 hence the crime. Pros: Nicely sized patio Valet trash service

I've been at Aberdeen @ Bellmar for only a few months but I really enjoy living here. The complex is quiet and well maintained and the staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their residents. As a single female living alone, I feel completely safe. There really is not a better buy for your money for this location!
I have been living at this complex for many years and I just renewed my lease for another year. The last 3 years or so have been the best of the 12 years I have spent here. The new owners invested a lot of money and did a lot of upgrades and the managment did a great job cleaning the place up of undesirables. The girls at office are always pleasant and have been very helpful in resolving any concerns I had. I usually place the maintenance requests through my account online and they are taken care of pretty fast and the maintenance guys, especially Pedro, do a great job. I must also add, that I am thrilled that Nikki recently returned as the property manager to Aberdeen - she has always been a pleasure to deal with, she knows her job and she takes care of things in a very efficient way. The property grounds are clean and although some irresponsible pet owners don't pick up after their dogs sometimes, it is usually cleaned up by the following morning.I also appreciate the events that Kara and Matthew do for the tenants (something I have not seen anywhere else) even though my busy schedule does not allow me to attend them all.Some people complain about roaches or rats - I do not personally have any in my apartment but people need to understand that sometimes their neighbors transfer them from other apartments and they are not something that can be elimiated overnight. The same thing with car break ins- they happen everywhere - even the most luxurious apartment complexes and there is only so much ANY managment can do about it. There are security officers as well as police officers patrolling around and that is more than many other apartment complexes have. I enjoy living here and may even transfer to a larger apartment on the next renewal.
The staff at Aberdeen is beyond horrible! If there’s a problem and you call there’s a 7 day waiting period and this including maintenance problems as well. None of the assistantance have answers to your question and the managers are NEVER there. The community itself is great. The office workers are horrible at there job.

The staff at Aberdeen have been beyond amazing. JAMIE, MALLORY, VIKI, AND CHRISTINE are incredibly accommodating and it is obvious they care about their Tenants as well as their work. The leasing office is well taken care of and upon entering the facilities I always receive a warm welcome. We have had some typical issues here and there but after alerting the staff problems have quickly been resolved. The apartments are well taken care of and it has been a pleasure interacting with the community here. The apartments themselves have exceeded my expectations. Welcome staff, Matt and Kara was a perk I have not witnessed in other facilities. The location is great and has greatly improved from the older apartments. They make it easy to pay rent and file requests online. I highly recommend touring the property. Great location, fabulous staff, wonderful units make Bellmar stand out.
