Walnut Hills, located in the heart of Cincinnati, combines rich history with rapid growth. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, its architecture, traditions and long time residents reflect a vision of Cincinnati from years gone by. Its up-and-coming districts like East Walnut Hills, with new restaurants and businesses opening each year, make Walnut Hills a neighborhood constantly evolving.
With its proximity to both downtown Cincinnati and more northern suburbs, Walnut Hills nestles in the convenient center of the city. Its superb parks and nearby public school – one of the best in the Cincinnati Public School system – make Walnut Hills a desirable neighborhood for families. Young people also flock to Walnut Hills for its wide variety of dining options and reasonably-priced apartments, many in historic Victorian homes.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 925 Nassau St
I lived at this apartment for 3 years. Overall it has been a great place to live. In a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to downtown/OTR. Lots of light in the apartment. The landlords are absolutely fantastic, incredibly thoughtful and responsive. Yes, it is an old building, so insulation from both a noise reduction and heat retention standpoint are not going to be the same as what brand new construction offers. That said, I often worked night shifts and was never woken up from noise from neighbors or bothered by noise in general. And while the heating/air conditioning is set for the building and not under tenant’s control, I found that the floor of the front room was cold (a pair of slippers was all I needed to be comfortable), but the rest of the apartment was warm. If I had to do it over again, I would live here again without hesitation
Property Manager at 925 Nassau St Cincinnati, OH 45206, Responded To This Review
Thank you very much for your review. Taking care of our tenants and of our properties is very important to us. We really appreciated your tenancy. Stay in touch and don't hesitate to reach out as needed.
Landlord controls heat/air conditioning and keeps it cold in the winter (just enough so the pipes don’t burst). Any sort of temperature control is difficult due to this. Lease terms are strict and almost unreasonable. Soundproofing is not a thing in this building. You can hear your neighbors’ floorboards creak. The walls make it very difficult to hang anything. The closets are very small and landlord charges for additional storage space. Laundry is 14 quarters for a wash and a dry. No grounded (3-prong) outlets except in kitchen and bathroom. Overall it’s a decent space with nice natural light but it’s not worth the high rent and additional fees, especially since you’ll want to buy noise-cancelling headphones, a space heater, a box fan, and outlet adapters/extenders.
