With on-site laundry, a community-only BBQ picnic area, and bicycle storage, this apartment building makes an excellent home located just a few blocks from the fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, and shops of Mamaroneck Avenue. Check out the link to the co-op at the Surrey Strathmore Owners Inc. on line. It's also just one block from the nearest parking lot and bus stop, and a quick five minute commute to the metro north station for those who work and play in Manhattan. (Catch an express train and you'll be at Grand Central in a half hour!) You can learn more about the Surrey Strathmore by looking it up on-line. Its a fantastic cooperative and is in high demand. It was my sanctuary and I was sorry to leave but moved to New Jersey with my daughter. I loved the hustle and bustle on Mamaroneck Avenue. My favorite places were Haiku, an awesome Sushi place to sit at the bar or outside, Brazen Fox, an awesome sports bar to hang out and watch the game with friends and Dunne's Pub, a great Pub right down the street from the Surrey on Shapham Place.
