It's a small, garden style brick building on a very quiet street. There are total of six apartments in the building. The apartment is located on the ground level. The apartment has private entrance. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. The apartment has recently installed IKEA kitchen cabinets. There is a full bathroom with a full size bathtub. The apartment has a large hallway leading to the bathroom and the closet. The hallway is large enough to accommodate a large chest of drawers or a shelf unit. The bathroom is very roomy. Window unit Air Conditioner is provided free of charge during warm months of the year. The apartment has beautiful recently refinished hardwood floors. These are original floors and have a lot of character. The apartment is very bright and is flooded with sunlight in the afternoon. Rent includes hot water, sewer and trash. Rent DOES NOT INCLUDE heat, electricity, cooking gas, cable and telephone. Electric bill runs about $15-20/mo in the winter and little more in the summer depending on the A/C usage. Gas bill runs about $30-50/mo on average (more in the winter and less in the summer). There is access to a coin-operated laundry room in the basement of the building. 1.5 mi to the Metro (Takoma), bus stop is across the street from the apartment.
