About This Home
General comments about all efficiency and one bedroom apartments at Forest Plaza (715 S. Forest) You will not find a better vintage apartment building in Ann Arbor. Campus Management, Inc. is the recipient of local awards for the historic preservation of the this nearly 100 year old building. Most recently we upgraded the passenger elevator with modern controls while going the extra mile to preserve as much of the historic elevator car as was allowed by law. Parking at the building is a la carte and is paid monthly - for either the covered garage or an adjacent surface lot. Garage spaces are available based on a resident's seniority in the building. Parking in the garage is $110 per month. Parking in the surface lot is $90 per month. We use a Ratio Utility Billing System (RUBS) to allocate a share of the natural gas, electricity and water expenses to each apartment. Allocations are based on the square footage of each apartment and factor in the number of people occupying each unit. A note about window air conditioners: We check the building routinely for the presence of resident installed window air conditioners. While you may install and use them, once we inventory their presence , there is a fee of $125/year/AC unit to use them. This is over and above your RUBS allocation for electricity. If you decide to place an AC unit in a window you must not damage our window or the metal trim surrounding our window. If you use an AC unit greater than 5K BTUs we will insist that it be immediately removed. We have rolling lease start dates from June to August. Make sure that you ask about the specific lease start date of any apartment(s) that interests you.
