This new management must be overwhelmed with pending issues from the previous team because we are still waiting on upgraded kitchen appliances and we are 7-year tenants.

I have lived at 7 west for about 7 months now. And my boyfriend and I absolutely love it. We feel supported whenever we need maintenance or any help or any degree. Besides that the community itself and its amenities are all very nice and clean. There’s plenty of parking which is something I’ve struggled with before at other communities so truly this one deserves a 10/10 stars. I love it and am hoping to renew when our lease is up!

We recently moved in to the apartment and facing a lot of issues with AC, washer, Kitchen sink, bathroom shower, exhaust, and also many damages in the apartment.

It pains me to write this review because Milly in the front office has been super helpful, but unfortunately my experience with 7 West has been extremely negative. It is true that there was a recent shooting at this property and a person was taken to the hospital. Additionally, the unit they attempted to give us was not in move in condition or representative of the unit they showed us. I have included images. It was filthy, had roaches, had a hole in the wall, and even pieces of the wall that were broken. 4 out of the 5 smoke detectors didn’t work and the paint job inside the unit looked horrendous. My wife didn’t feel safe the night we went to inspect the unit because there were men drinking alcohol right outside our unit on a Wednesday night. This was our very first impression of our unit. Learning about the recent shooting was the last straw. Now they are demanding we pay 2 months of rent due to early termination when the unit was never ready for us to move into and we never even moved into it due to all the hygiene and safety concerns. Keep in mind only 2 days have passed since we signed the lease and we never even moved in. We even told them they could keep our security deposit, but that isn’t enough for them. Please stay away from this property, you will regret even considering them.

Please do not move here!! The only good thing they had was for the reserved parking spaces. The have removed them to allow the tenants that rent out the rooms and have more than 10 people living in the unit with more than 4 cars. Those are the ones that are finding this beneficial. When they are not even part of the leasing contract. Apartments should keep the reserved spaces as they are close to where the tenants live. Now we have to park buildings away far from where we live. They also now have On call parking that tows the cars away that don’t have a parking space. These people are the worst. We have signed petition, gone to the office, call corporate office to try and stop this injustice that they have done to the tenants that are bound by contract. We have not received any response.They laugh in your face and tell you there is nothing we can do. They don’t care at all for the tenants concern on this huge issue. They laugh and tell you to go around in circles when you come from work after a 12 hour shift till you find a space to park or expect the tow truck to take the car. It makes no sense that we need to park away from our apartment just cause they are incompetent and don’t know how to run a community. All they car about is money and raising the rent every year $200 dollars on Buildings that are falling apart.
Unresponsive management, and the website is a lie, there is no longer any assigned parking. The office neglected to address tenants who are renting out their rooms, and so some apartments have four cars when the majority have one or two a most
Many reasons one being the apartments are breaking down, old, moldy and very small. The management is never available nor do they care about the residents. Parking doesn’t exist so if you have more than 1 car this is not the place for you. The amenities are there but never taken care of nor are they ever open. The gates to enter are always broken and sometimes cause car accidents due to having to backup into the street to go through the other door. And lastly there’s been many robberies in the neighborhood which is entirely their fault because they refuse to fix the outside doors or just about anything while still raising prices. It’s not worth it.
The apartments are falling a part, they tow your car for no reason,nothing works properly, and if anything breaks it will take weeks or even months to get fixed,I will not recommended
