We’re seeking to rent a tiny 1 bedroom , 2nd floor apartment in our 155 year old Victorian Farmhouse to a most considerate and respectful person. We’ve previously rented to young professionals and visiting educators. This is an owner occupied house with 3 large dogs that roam the property and garden as the property is gated. It's a friendly street with many folks living here for long periods of time and new residents. A small park, Mt. Bowdoin Green, is just across the street .The apartment is small - tiny bathroom, tiny kitchen (but big enough to place a small table and chair) - an old fashioned kitchen without a dishwasher. There’s one small room and a larger one, a private entrance off the garden and a porch. We allow use of our washer and dryer in the basement only as long as tenants are considerate of the space and appliances - use is not part of the lease. The apartment has hardwood floors, new windows and new bathroom sink and toilet. We're seeking a singular tenant. It's a quiet street with the Fairmount Line semi-commuter rail at the bottom of the hill which will get you to South Station in 15 minutes; #23 Ashmont-Ruggles station is free also at the bottom of the hill. There are several other bus stops close by #16 Forest Hills-Andrew Station and the #19 Kenmore-Fields Corner. There are local restaurants nearby, Stop & Shop Market not far and a number of convenience stores. Good credit is a must! Good credit score, proof of income and references are all required. No pets. On street parking, there's lots of spaces. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES. A one year lease is required. The apartment is occupied until 9/30, so viewing isn't really possible until at least 10/1. Utilities are not included (gas heat:National Grid, electric: Eversource) nor is Wi-Fi.
