San Francisco’s MUNI (the main and broadest network of public transportation in San Francisco) picks up and drops off steps from building/flat (21 Hayes to Downtown and Financial District inbound and Golden Gate Park outbound). Parking, if needed, is non-metered on the block the building is located, on both sides of the street, on the cross streets, up the street, on the next several parallel streets and the other cross streets (which seems to change hands frequently because of commercial nature of some of the area). There are two hours limit parking signs posted to prevent non-residents long term parking in the area, but if you get a resident parking sticker/permit from the City, which is $150/year as of the last update of this info, you are not subject to the two hour parking (permit office located about five blocks from building). (Please note, names of restaurants, bars, etc., and retailer photos are updated only intermittently)
