The Elkridge Hanover neighborhood consists of two unincorporated communities, Elkridge and Hanover. Elkridge is one of the oldest settlements in Howard County, dating back to 1734. This beautiful community features several historic sites, including Troy, which dates back to 1694, when John Dorsey moved to the property. I have been a resident for 7 years and I can say my experience has been positive. When I have had issues in the past , the staff has always addressed them in a timely manner. The up keep of the building is nice and I feel safe coming in my building at night. I love coming home to my home.

This is a quite apartment community. The staff are all nice and welcoming. My first stay here was because it was close to my job. This is my second stay. I left the state and when I knew I was coming back, this was the only choice! There’s a grocery store and plenty of restaurants in walking distance and it’s minutes from shopping and entertainment venues. The Army base is not far either. I feel safe here…

I have lived in this neighborhood for a couple of years, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. The team that works there goes above and beyond with resident services. The perks are lovely, they engage with the community from food trucks to donation drives for the schools. I would recommend this complex if you are looking for a place in Howard county.

I don’t have anything bad to say. Anything I need I feel like I can talk to staff and the issue will be resolved. We had an issue with packages going missing but honestly that’s anywhere you go.. other than that, we are happy. I would also like to give a huge thanks to the lady the cleans up builds at 6 am as well as the maintenance team. They are excellent and I couldn’t ask for better people to be around.

Management is non-existent and takes days to respond to issues. Dog poop is everywhere, there should be a dog park for the amount of dogs here. And let me not forget about the pool, it’s 4x4 and you have to pay for guest passes, but where will they swim. Lastly, no matter how clean you try to keep your carpet, it gets dirty and spotty regardless because it’s cheap and you will be charged when you move, to replace it. They really don’t deserve a star.

The property manager, Christina, or assistant manager, Imani are available Monday through Friday for all residents or prospects to come in to speak with, call or email for any reason. Emails are typically answered the same day or on the next working day if they are off at the time of the email. The property is also staffed on the weekends if anything arises then. Very rarely does the office close for the entire day or early except for major holidays. We are actually in the process of working with the contractors and the county to see if a dog park can be installed on our property. In addition, we are in the process of having cameras installed throughout the property to help try to identify those individuals who are not picking up after their pets or causing any damage to the property. The Pool is for resident use only as they are the ones paying the rent. However, in the event that a resident would like to bring a guest we do regulate this so that there is enough space for any resident who wishes to use the pool. Our carpet is an apartment-grade carpet with a 5-year life expectancy (as is normal with most communities). As a tenant, you are expected to keep the carpet clean by vacuuming at least once daily and having it shampooed every 3 months (monthly if you have a pet is what we recommend). Doing this will keep the carpet healthy and long-lasting. If you move out and have not kept up with the carpet and it does need to be replaced because it will not come clean then you will be charged the remaining life expectancy of the carpet- this will be the same with any community you move to. I have been a resident at Penniman Park going on 6 years and I can say so far a great experience. Penniman Park is very family oriented and for the most part peaceful. There is nothing like coming home to a peaceful environment. The staff is very professional and friendly. I love you guys, . Have a wonderful holiday and be safe!!!!

Love my apartment. Maintenance staff is wonderful, Devon and Gerrod are always out working around the property. Office staff is great too. The only issue I have is residents not picking up after their dogs and sometimes the kids play in the road but this is every where you would move. Other than that I’m very happy with my apartment

my first apartment on my own and i am in love. Imani and Christina in the office are great, they seem to genuinely care about us. the maintenance staff has been amazing. i had a bad leak from a water heater and they were on top of it right away and made it like nothing even happened! my apartment is huge and the neighborhood is quiet too. definitely recommend

I have lived here for about 2 years and I love it. My apartment is large and has everything I need. The maintenance guys Devon and Gerrod are great. They respond quick to any issues I have. The only down side is some of the people that live here just don’t clean up after their dogs, which is stupid since there are dog stations around, I use them regularly so I don’t understand. Other than that I am very happy here

Terrible to none in terms of management. No clue what's going on in the buildings, nor does anyone care. It's all window-dressing. Noise is unbelievable. Don't plan on sleeping.

My daughter has recent moved in to Penniman Park with a roommate. So far the experience has been great. This is her first apartment so this is a big move for her. She worked with Christina in the office with her application. Christina was very friendly and knowledgeable and on top of any questions my daughter had. Maintenance did have to come to the apartment right after moving in but the items that needed to be replaced were already communicated to my daughter (the items were on back order) beforehand so she was aware. Maintenance was very respectful of the apartment being their home and also helped walked her through using some of the things in the apartment that she was unsure of. So far the experience has been wonderful. As a parent i would definitely recommend Penniman Park.

When I first toured the staff made me feel so welcomed! I was greeted by the Jay the leasing agent, she was very knowledgeable about the and made sure to answer all of my questions which put me at ease because I definitely had a few. Now they didn't have any apartments to show but she made sure to show me videos and pics of the place and told me if I applied once my apartment was ready that I could come and see it. She introduced my to both the managers and they were very friendly. I love that the place is so close to my job! The process for applying has been a breeze as well. The staff has made sure be very attentive to my needs at all times. I can't wait for move in day.

I have lived at Penniman Park for about 3 years and I absolutely love it here. The manager, Christina is super friendly and helpful whenever I have an issue. The other manager Imani is great. She helped me work through a tough patch with COVID. Maintenance always responds to my tickets timely and I always see them outside picking up trash and cleaning the buildings. My apartment is awesome. I love the kitchen, I’m a chef so it’s perfect for me. My only complaint is some of these residents do not know how to clean up after them self. They throw trash next to the dumpster instead of inside and write on the walls. I’m not sure why people do these things since they live here too. It’s sad.

This is long overdue but I had the opportunity to work with Tristan a few weeks ago. He was very welcoming from the moment I walked to the leasing office, and he was very informative during the tour.He was very nice and understanding of what I was looking for and the space I needed and could relate. He was willing to work with me and update me if something came available. Also, if you're a fan of quiet apartments like me, then here might be the place for you. I would recommend this place to anyone based off the first impression

The staff here is remarkable that's all that really matters because if you have great staff then the Living situation is awesome Honestly for being in this area for the amount of time we have been I wish we would have picked here 1st but I'm happy that we are here

Living here has been a joy! The property is beautiful and the staff is so nice and responsive. Anything problems I have with my apartment Gerrod makes sure it is taken care of so quickly that I barely even notice there was an issue and Christina might be the nicest manager I have ever met! Everyone is so friendly and they really make me feel at home!!!
