With a prime location near the University of Michigan, the Old West Side is home to graduate students and university faculty members as well as older and younger couples. The Ark, a non-profit organization and music venue in the Old West Side, has been in operation since 1965. Arcadian Antique Boutique was established in 1983 and the Argus Museum was founded in 1987. One of the oldest mainstays in the Old West Side, Washtenaw Dairy, opened in 1936.

Property Ratings at 618 South Main Apartments
So incredibly expensive. Amenities are okay but very over advertised. Pool is frequently closed without explanation. Management is incompetent any problem you bring up they are unable to solve and only resolution they offer depends on the residents…parking is an extra $300 but the Main Street entrance is closed to left hand turns so I almost got T-boned coming home! When I talked to management they suggested I drive the other direction to pull into the garage. No notice, no guidance, no sign, no heads up, nothing. Just drive the other way. Go out of your way while you’re already paying $300 to pull into a garage. Wow. I feel the management really doesn’t care about the residents anymore. Lived here almost 5 years and leaving because of the above! For the price they ask they should be the kindest resolution oriented management in this city.
