About This Home
Welcome to this charming one bedroom, one bathroom home, one block from the Alaska Junction. New vinyl plank flooring throughout, fresh paint, new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Beautiful original built in book cases in the entry going from the living room to the kitchen. Street parking only, small shared yard, no pets, 12 month lease, renters insurance required. Tenant pays all utilities (water, sewer, garbage and electricity), $2500/rent, $2000/security deposit, $300/non-refundable cleaning fee, $50/application fee. If interested, please send us an email and we will send you our pre-qualification questions (what we look at during the background check). Anyone over the age of 18 needs to fill out a background screening application. What we look for: That you bring in 3x the rent each month, or reasonably close to it. Two years or more of verifiable rental history (and remarks from previous Landlords). Not so much a credit score, but things that are negatively showing on your credit (lack of credit is not the same as bad credit). Screening check is $50 per person and everyone over the age of 18 will need to have this completed. If applicant is approved, a Holding Fee (same amount as Security Deposit and cleaning fee) will be requested in the form of secure funds and any paperwork the screening company requests to verify income; these items will need to be brought in within 48 hours of approval. At the time of lease signing, the Holding Fee will transfer to applicant's Security Deposit.

True to its name, Junction is named after the historic intersection of Alaska Street and California Avenue, which is home to the All Way Walk signal, the only intersection in Seattle where pedestrians can walk in every direction across the street. Junction is also known as West Seattle’s downtown district. This eclectic neighborhood is filled with art galleries, coffee shops, quirky shops, and longstanding establishments like the Husky Deli, which has been selling groceries and ice cream since the 1930s.
As the heart of West Seattle, Junction hosts most of the area’s special events including art walks, outdoor movie nights, and seasonal festivals like Summer Fest, a three-day street festival. Along with plenty of amenities and events, residents appreciate living near several excellent parks and beaches like Alki Beach Park and Me-Kwa-Mooks Park, which overlooks the Puget Sound.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
