Overall I love living here and I just renewed my lease for another year. I do wish that there was more equipment in the gym, and the in-unit dryer was able to dry things faster, but overall very satisfied.

Overall I have a good experience living here the past 2 years. The concierges are really friendly and helpful. Maintenance is really quick - sometimes things get fixed within the same day I send the request in. Shout out to Kemi the concierge and the maintenance team! Things that could be improve in this apartment including how smelly the elevators are sometimes (i have seen The Salt Line uses the residential elevator to transport seafood). The trash chute also needs more frequent cleaning/maintenance - it smells horrible in the hallway especially during hot summer days.

Great experience living here to far. Shared spaces are clean. Neighbors and quiet and nice. I have had no issues with noise. Great location, close to everything you could need. The only reason for 4 stars is when I moved in the apartment was not inspected/ ready for move in. The cabinets were falling off the walls and dishwasher was not working. Maintenence was very quick to fix this issue. I also have to check for incorrret fees on my account every month.

4040 Wilson Boulevard is an excellent apartment for any professionals working in DC/NoVa. It's close to the metro and many of the popular stores, the amenities are really nice, and the new manager is highly friendly and approachable. The apartment itself is quiet even though the area isn't. I highly recommend it!

A very safe, clean, and comfortable building to live in. The rooftop pools and sitting area are an added plus. Maintenance is very responsive and efficient when I need help. Definitely recommend living here.

beautiful views and friendly staff, I really appreciate the amenities like the package room and WFH section. the apartments are stunning and modern, but are quite small - my room doesn't have a real door, only a sliding one. additionally, the elevator area on the ground floor can smell quite odd since the building is next to a seafood restaurant.

The apartment is really beautiful, the view is amazing. I've lived here for a month now and I've never once heard my neighbors which is awesome and uncommon in most apartments. The front desk staff are all kind and helpful. Overall I would absolutely recommend the building. The pool on the roof is a little more like a puddle and it gets really crowded but if you go at off hours it's like having your own puddle in the clouds which is nice. Grocery is a block away everything is in walking distance and there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Five stars all the way.

I just moved to 4040 Wilson, but I just want to say how much I appreciate the leasing office and concierge here! Everyone's been so personable and helpful in assisting me with the move. They helped me grab more detailed measurements of the apartment while I was on a trip so I could figure out what furniture I could take with me, hung out with me in the cold while I was waiting for my moving truck, and even helped me switched apartment units last minute after a different one I liked became available. All my emails were responded to within a day too. Thank you for taking some of the stress out of moving!

I love living here! Prettiest apartment in Ballston! I am full of pride to live at 4040. The penthouse is lovely with a lovely view. The coffee machine on the 2nd floor is always well stocked. Front desk staff is friendly. Packages always handled with care. Issues attended to very promptly.

Love living here in terms of safety and convenience to the Metro, but I am finding that some of the amenities could be better. The dryer in my apartment takes a few cycles to fully dry clothing, and the drains easily clog. Maintenance is always responsive, though, which is helpful.

I have really enjoyed the month or so I have lived at 4040 wilson. My apartment is great and very quiet for the most part, only occassionaly hear upstairs neighbor. The residents all seem very respectful and like working professionals. The front desk staff are wonderful.

Great location. Really nice concierge staff team. Lots of pets which means lots of pet odor in the hallways and on the elevator. Staff does try to keep up with it. With newer buildings coming online just a block over, it will be interesting to see what they do to retain residents.

Very clean building, responsive maintenance team, friendly concierges. Rooftop and pool areas are very nice. Sometimes there can be a long wait for the elevators and some residents do not put leashes on their dogs.

The view from our apartment is unbeatable and the amenities are incredible. Staff is very kind and helpful as well. The walls are basically soundproof which gives you all the privacy you’ll need.

Living here is amazing. The rooftop hot tub is so relaxing, and the balcony view with the Washington Monument is just wow! Whether it's day or night, it's always beautiful. I'm lucky to call this place home.

I’ve had a great experience living at 4040 so far. The amenities aren’t as amazing as some other buildings I’ve lived in in the area, but the concierge, maintenance, leasing, and management staff are incredible. Would recommend!

I love 4040. Best part of living here is the management. The cleaning staff, maintenance, and front desk are all absolutely lovely. I toured another “luxury” apartment once thinking maybe I would move, but no one understands the word “luxury” like 4040.

4040 Wilson is truly an exceptional building. It is spotless, safe (especially for women), and efficient. Everything from the concierge hand-delivering my newspaper to me every morning to addressing any maintenance issues; 4040 Wilson never disappoints. The rent is on the higher side, but that is obviously for good reason. It's amazing to be able to focus on other things when your living needs are immediately met.

Overall, very pleased with living here. Challenges arise when any kind of building maintenance occurs usually shutting down elevators and or creating difficulties with getting to the garage. The garage doors often early in the morning seem to not open properly and one must exit running vehicle to manually press button to open exit door of garage. Also, for a luxury apartment please explain to me why I was told I needed to install my own light/ceiling fan fixture in my bedroom and then deal with inexpensive metal blinds?

I’ve been a resident here for 3 years now - moved in when the building first opened. It’s been a fabulous place to call home. Nice amenities, quiet, and walking distance to bars/restaurants in Arlington. Highly recommend!

I love living in 4040 Wilson! I love the layout and design of my apartment, the high-up view, the gym, and the rooftop. The location is lovely next to shops and restaurants as well.
