About This Property
Spanish Colonial Revival homes have held the hearts of Southern Californians for over 100 years and it seems with the passage of time they're only becoming more desirable. We have excellent examples of the Spanish style here in Riverside but this home on Bandini is one of the best I've come across. In 1932 the Superintendent of the City Light Department, Robert Bolden, purchased two lots on Bandini Avenue. He hired one of Riverside's top builders, Harry Marsh, to construct the home and we believe based on signature design elements that the architect was in fact Henry L.A Jekel. The home has an impressive living room, with its large fireplace and hand carved beamed ceiling. The dining room also features a beamed ceiling and has great views out to the pool in the back garden. The kitchen has been remodeled in the last year and is open to a comfortable breakfast room surrounded by original wood-framed windows. The home has three bedrooms as well as an independent office space off of the living room. Enjoy the photos and call to schedule your appointment, we look forward to hearing from you.
