    Great experience

    This apartment has afforded us the opportunity to explore all the great restaurants, parks, and venues nearby. It's been a quiet a calm community and it's also kept tidy.They are quick to address any laundry maintenance issues and clean the pool frequently. It's pet friendly and the neighborhood itself is a nice place to walk around! Overall I'm very happy that living here has been a peaceful experience!

    Great little property!

    I lived here for 3 years before having to move out recently due to a job relocation. I enjoyed our little community. It was quiet and so centrally located. It was nice not having to get on a highway to get to work in downtown. The management team was surprisingly very easy to work with. You can tell they are not a big corporate company and really take the time to listen to the tenants. Thank you for a wonderful 3 years!

    Location is everything here!

    I love this charming property. I have lived here twice now in the past 5 years. I moved out of town for 2 years but came right back. It's a quiet community on tree-lined street. The best part is you are within walking distance of so many amazing restaurants. The major highways are also easily accessible. The property itself is well-maintained and management has been responsive on answering my questions.

    It was great, until it wasn’t

    My partner and I were very happy here….in the beginning. While the first year was great, the year that followed brought its “challenges”. In the middle of summer, during the hottest months of the year, the pool was shut down by the health department. When we asked management what the issues were, we got one answer, while our neighbor got a completely different answer. Total lack of adequate and/or consistent information for each person who asked. Shortly after, with Hurricane Beryl came flooding to the newly advertised storage units on the ground floor of the complex. The storage unit we were using had at least 3 inches of water, ruining anything that wasn’t in a plastic container. When management was informed, they claimed they had no idea that it was a flood area, even though the complex was built sometime in the mid to late 20th century. About a week after Beryl, our AC shut down and had to be replaced. When the repairmen were inspecting the AC unit inside and outside our unit, they found that the entire unit needed to be replaced. When we asked management to be reimbursed for a hotel room for the evening, they essentially declined and we were told to take our mattress to a vacant unit and sleep there instead. If it was that easy, we would have done just that. Meanwhile, we slept in an 80-85 degree apt for 2 days until it was finally fixed. Now, I’m no expert, but after a major natural disaster, I would think a management team would check on each property and its facilities/amenities. That was our last straw and we explored breaking our lease, due to breach of contract. The night after my partner spoke with the owners and management, we woke up to our next door neighbor screaming for help, during a domestic altercation with a guest who was not on their lease. The assailant was incapacitated by another neighbor, arrested shortly after, and charged with assault. When we walked out the next morning, we were greeted by small pools of blood on our doorstep and spatter all over our front door. Even after it was “cleaned”, there were still visible traces of blood on our door/doorstep. Needless to say, we moved out shortly after and management did very little to make up for any of my previously mentioned issues listed above. If you are looking for a complex with outstanding management and maintenance, who cares about the needs of it’s tenants, I implore you to look elsewhere.

    A sanctuary found in the heart of Montrose

    This is not your typical property that paints Houston’s skyline. Tucked away in the Westmoreland historic district, the authenticity of homes date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The charm, character and location are what I love about my home at 3602 Garrott Street. There are newly remodeled units offered that provide a modern flare and they give a sense of a small town community feel along with an extra layer of safety. In the most populous Texas city, for me, accessibility is key. My home is minutes away from (easy to access) all major key freeways that extend outward from the Downtown area. Moving here is one of the best decisions I’ve made, hands down!
