Established in 1863, Crown Hill Cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery, the nation's third largest, covers 555 acres and contains more than 150 species of plants and trees. It is the final resting place of President Benjamin Harrison, three Vice Presidents, Hoosier poet James Whitcomb Riley, several famous artists and sculptors, and many others.
With its gothic archways and gorgeous sculptures, it's no wonder the neighborhood surrounding the cemetery shares its name.
