Absolute trash

Hallways are dirty. All repairs, your fault or not is your issues not his. Even if it was already there. Nothing has been cleaned in years. There is a sock that's been in the hallway for three years. Doesn't follow tenant laws and finds ways to charge extra. Bee infeastation? Or I'll just super glue the crack of the building they are COMING OUT OF so they'll resort to crawling into the apartment. Allergic to bees? Your issue not mine. There are birds in the outside vents of the building who make noise within the walls. College kids so loud and he allows them to smoke cigarettes and illegal substances within the building. Carpets are brown but found out they are supposed to be grey when we moved fruniture leftover. Appliances are from early 2000s and breakdown. Asked him to do the carpets. He said no and said to follow the rulea of the moveout aggreement. Guess who then took two hours to make up said agreement and send it to our emails as if it always existed? CRAP LANDLORD. CRAP APARTMENT. CRAP LEASE. Also charges first, last, and deposit. Don't plan on getting the deposit back. AT ALL.

Basic with no maintenance

This apartment gets a high rating for location. You literally look out your window and see the CCSU campus. It is also very safe. My biggest issue is the lack of upkeep. The hallways haven't been cleaned in YEARS. The same sock has been in the hallway since I toured the apartment in the summer. Walls are scuffed and floors have caked in dirt. Never has been a good paint job in the hallways either. The rooms themselves are fine, though things such as the heating vents can definitely be updated. Stairs are also dirty and rickety. What you go to to get to your room is what I have an issue with. Last year the grass got so tall that it looked like Africa and the Bleu purposely mowed up to their piece of land to try to get the landlord to cut it. Landlord if you are reading this, please clean the hallways! It literally can cost you $20 to send someone in!
