About This Home

12 Month Lease, $1,800 deposit

Beautifully renovated one-bedroom condo in the heart of Capitol Hill! We are small, independent landlords (this is our only property) with only one long-term tenant who was with us for four years until recently purchasing a home. Available starting January, recommendation available upon request. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but just a short walk away from everything you could want! Includes a FREE, designated off-street parking space as well as a designated storage unit on the ground floor. Water and garbage/recycling/compost are included - tenant only pays electricity. Less than 10 minutes to the light rail/multiple bus routes, 15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes from QFC and Broadway bars and restaurants, 20 minutes from Volunteer Park, across the street from Analog coffee, and just a few blocks away from the entrances to I5 North and South! Huge kitchen with tons of cabinet space and custom tall storage cabinets, granite countertops, a breakfast nook, and stainless steel appliances including a slide-in convection oven and a French door fridge. A great kitchen for anyone who loves to cook, and it overlooks the living room so it is great for hosting! Open living room with dimmable LED recessed lighting and large windows with beautiful shutters. The living room opens onto the balcony, which gets lots of afternoon sun and is wonderful in the summer. The bedroom has double closet racks for plenty of hanging space! Pets are ok as long as they are generally quiet and house-trained - Tashkent Park is about 5 minutes away, and there are multiple dog parks within a 10-15 minute walk. Neighborhood is incredibly dog-friendly! Available January 2025. Qualifying Criteria: 1. Combined gross monthly income of 2.5 to 3 times the monthly rent in accordance with city law. 2. 650 credit score or better 3. Stable, provable, employment/income. 4. Prove of positive rental history (and/or mortgage payment history); no prior evictions; no prior bankruptcy; no co-signers. We follow the First-in-Time law. Neighborhood

Yes, it's called Capitol Hill -- but it isn't the capitol and there's no capitol building. So how did this Seattle neighborhood get its name? Back around 1900, a real estate developer renamed the burgeoning community from "Broadway Hill" to "Capitol Hill" because he wanted the capitol to be moved from Olympia to Seattle. That never happened, and the quirky neighborhood kept its new quirky name. Capitol Hill is the neighborhood for those who love nightlife. As Seattle's premier place to party, Capitol Hill is home to coffee houses, taverns, bars, nightclubs, and theaters.

Home to artists and musicians, Capitol Hill features a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and it is home to the Capitol Hill Arts District. College students also find their way to the Hill, which is home to Seattle Central College and is just south of the University of Washington.
