About This Property
Sweeping One-Bedroom Condo Unit With Exposed Brick in Georgetown You won't want to miss this great one-bedroom and one-bathroom condo unit within the Montrose Walk Condominium. This unique unit offers hardwood floors, an exposed brick wall, skylights, and natural wood finishes, all spread across more than 900 square feet of living space. The spacious living area is situated at the front of the unit and offers four large windows that supply lots of natural light. There is plenty of room for a separate living and dining set up. A coat closet, built-in shelving, and two large cabinets allow for great storage and decor options. An efficient kitchen with a window of its own includes stainless steel appliances and a mirrored backsplash around the L-shaped countertop. Floor-to-ceiling cabinets make it easy to reduce clutter, and store all of your kitchen gadgets. A long hallway with skylights and track lighting leads you toward the rear of the unit. A tiled bathroom with a large mirror, two medicine cabinets, ample drawer space, and a jacuzzi tub sits along the way. At the end of the hallway, two glass-paned French doors open up into the bedroom. This cavernous bedroom provides plenty of space for a king-sized bed and nightstands, and additional space for a desk. Open up the glass-paned door at the rear of the unit for some fresh air and a beautiful view. The bedroom also includes a custom walk-in closet with hanging and shelving space on either side, as well as a shoe rack. The Montrose Walk Condominium is a detached association speed across victorian style buildings that were built in 1890. This condo unit sits inside one of these three-unit buildings. In addition to the in-unit washer and dryer, Montrose Walk also has a community laundry room with high-capacity units. This condo association is also conveniently located right across the street from Montrose Park. Here you will find tree-lined walking paths, plenty of green-space, tennis courts, and a playground. Along with the great unit features, its location in the northeast area of Georgetown is also noteworthy. A highly walkable area, you will find groceries, neighborhood shops, and plenty of restaurants very nearby. The Dupont Circle Metro Station is also an easy 15-20 minute walk (1.0 mi). If traveling by bus, you can easily pick up the D2, D6, G2, 31, 33, and GT-US lines at one of the many nearby bus stops. Nearby Rock Creek Park also offers biking and walking trails that run North and South, and they also connect to other great trails. There is an application fee of $50 per applicant. The minimum credit score requirement is 670 (per DC statute, the approval decision is not based solely on the credit score). The minimum lease term is for one year. Tenants are responsible for electricity and cable/internet (if desired). Pets will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Tenants are responsible for any condo-related moving and administrative fees. The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
