Shares an interior vertical wall with the other half of the building. Downstairs is a huge living room with a decorative fireplace and barrel ceiling with exposed beams and recessed lights, a guest room, .75 bath (shower only, no tub), formal dining room, ample kitchen with quartz counters, subway tile backsplash and stainless appliances (dishwasher, stove, refrigerator all included), a breakfast nook and a laundry area (washer and dryer included). Upstairs is the master bed plus two more bedrooms, and the second, spacious bath with two sinks (his/his, hers/hers, his/hers) on white quartz counters. Gorgeous original hardwood floors throughout, period details and modern finishes. This was the owner's unit on a 3-unit property (neighbors are awesome young professionals, respectful and courteous), and the owners took exquisite care to create a bright and welcoming space that is as fun to live in as it is to entertain in. Private backyard space off the kitchen/laundry area includes a grassy area, a patio area and a pine tree, as well as a shed for additional storage. One off-street parking spot is included. Additional nearby street parking. AC in the living room and all upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs bedroom doesn't need it, it stays cool. West Adams is Los Angeles' most centrally located neighborhood. This home is a 2 minute drive to the La Brea exit off the 10 (20 minutes to downtown, Santa Monica or Silverlake - you pick), and close to the Expo line (take the train directly to the Santa Monica promenade (25 minutes) or to downtown). The neighbors are awesome, the streets are dotted with cute houses with well-kept lawns and neighbors who say “hi” to one another. Walk to Los Anaya Mexican restaurant, Honeybee's House of Pancakes (pancakes and pupusas) or Academy of Strength and Fitness crossfit gym. Landlord pays water and landscaping, tenant pays electricity, gas and garbage. One year lease, excellent credit and proof of income for all tenants required. Animals will be considered, additional deposit may be required depending on type and breed. Note that downstairs guest bedroom does not have a closet, but if you will be using it as a bedroom, we will gladly provide an armoire.
