This fitness center offers a spacious, well-organized workout environment designed to accommodate a wide range of exercise needs. The space features an industrial aesthetic, highlighted by an exposed ceiling with visible ductwork and piping, painted in a neutral tone that complements the concrete-textured walls. Overhead, linear LED lighting fixtures provide consistent, bright illumination throughout the floor. The gym is outfitted with an impressive selection of strength training machines, including cable systems, multi-function units, and a weight bench positioned prominently in the foreground. Cardio equipment, such as ellipticals and upright bikes, is visible toward the rear of the space. Large windows along the perimeter walls allow natural light to filter in, enhancing the open and airy feel of the room. Dark rubber flooring covers the entire workout area, providing durability and safety underfoot. Full-length mirrors are mounted along the walls, serving both a functional and visual purpose by amplifying the sense of space. The overall layout is thoughtfully arranged to allow ample room between equipment, promoting ease of movement and a comfortable workout experience.

In the 1890s, the most fashionable neighborhood in Los Angeles was Bunker Hill. Filled with elegant Victorian homes and sophisticated stores for the socialites and trend-setters who lived in the neighborhood, Bunker Hill was filled with LA's sparkle and glitter. That changed in the early 1920s, when the neighborhood's location -- perched on a hill in the city -- began to be seen as an impediment to growth rather than an asset. In addition, the elevation of the entire neighborhood was lowered, a tunnel was built through the area, and the neighborhood became overcrowded due to the ever-expanding city.
The neighborhood was nearly forgotten until recently, when it began to emerge as one of LA's trendy neighborhoods once again. The neighborhood escaped much of the city's redevelopment, so many of the older structures still remain. This trendy neighborhood is home to some fantastic venues, as well, such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Broad, and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
