I have lived in the Traver Ridge complex for two years and am leaving Michigan for a job in another state. My one bedroom apartment (850 sq ft with walk-in closets) will be available for rent late December 2017 (12/27/17) or January 2018. The lease will be officially transferred to you through the leasing office and will run until August 2018. The rent is 1099$, which is 120$ lower than the current market price for similar units in the complex as they become available. I have paid the 300$ security deposit as well and no deposit is required from you. It is a nice area for professionals, postdocs, and graduate students. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance is always quick. The apartment has a cute balcony overlooking a beautiful pond. There is a washer/dryer in the building and free street parking is available for each unit. There is also covered parking that you can request.
