Property Ratings at 220 E 18th St
This is a very loud building. People blast music regularly from apartments very loudly and there are groups of young men who sit on the steps on the front of the building and blast music until 2-3am almost every night when the weather permits and are very loud The management seems to do nothing to discourage this noise though it is not happening on the street or even the sidewalk but on their property. If the management doesn't care about what happens on the steps of their apartment I would imagine that they don't care much about tenants. I have lived across from 220 for 6 years and the sound issues are only getting worse.
I moved to my apartment in June, and I have been loving my first couple of months here. I'm in an area bordering Flatbush and Dyker Heights, and my nearest subways are Q and B, both express train in Manhattan. Just a block away to see real homes with front porch and backyards, needless to say mostly family neighbors - makes me think I'm in the suburbs everyday I come back from work!
