I really like my apartment and they really make a good effort at keeping the community amenities (gym and dog run) clean and updated. The elevators have been a problem though with one or even two out of use for residents every couple of weeks which means during busy hours it can take 20 mins to wait for an elevator that is usually packed

great building centrally located in rittenhouse square. staff was very kind and helpful and made the whole move-in process very easy from start to finish.
The room is large and clean. You can enjoy hot water at any time, and also beautiful view of Philadelphia. There is not only a gym and a theater room but also a large balcony for your friends to gather. I can't expect more!

We love living at 2126 Chestnut. The location is perfect; quiet but central, the other renters are friendly, and the place is shiny clean. We love our view from the tenth floor and the balcony is an added bonus. We are dog owners and so appreciate the on-sight dog-run.

I would avoid this building at all costs. They advertise themselves as a luxury building, but in reality it is a glorified dorm. There is no recycling on floor, the trash chute sometimes works, and the BUILDING DOES NOT ACCEPT PACKAGES. Furthermore, they will sneak things into your lease like paying for "shared buliding electricity" which is frankly unethical. And the best part is the management team will consistently email you speaking to you like you are a child. I will be moving, and I highly recommend all peoples avoid this building.

Ideal location. Convenient move in process and very easy and accommodating to receive furniture and deliveries. Nice balance of costs and amenities. Great gym and parking garage. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Quiet building with super views in walking distance to everything.

I've loved living here and am glad I chose it. Staff have been friendly, approachable and helpful, especially as I moved here from the UK during covid. The apartment and building is safe and clean, has great views and accessible to shops and restaurants. I'd have no reservations in choosing to live here again and I'll miss it when I leave.

Pros: convenient location, parking available for cost, simple floor plans, friendly front desk, great maintenance staff, in-unit washer/dryer. Cons: leasing/management has been least friendliest out of all places I've lived at so far, prices vary greatly from resident to resident (office accidentally sent other unit's renewal offer and same floor plan/comparable floor was $200 less expensive...) packages are poorly managed.

I moved to 2116 Chestnut from Los Angeles right in the middle of the pandemic for a new job, and was unable to visit in person. Rachel and the leasing team were extremely accommodating and helpful with virtual tours and so many questions I lost count. They walked me through everything and explained everything in such detail it was like taking the tour in person. It made me very comfortable with moving here. Upon arrival, the team couldn't have been more helpful. My unit needed extra cleaning on move-in day and they did it right away. The engineering team even helped me move a piece of heavy furniture since I was alone. The front desk staff is so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this building to anyone looking in downtown Philly!

Ive been in 2116 Chestnut for 9 months now, and I have found the place to be above satisfactory. The employees are kind and have become part of my day (I have a pup so we go out on walks a lot). Though Im looking at moving out of Philadelphia, I am considering living in another building managed by greystar.

I have lived at 2116 Chestnut for three years and absolutely love living here. It is a fantastic building in a great location and I have wonderful views of the city. The staff at 2116 Chestnut is extremely helpful and professional. In particular, Jose, the head of service and maintenance, is excellent. He provides top notch service and is quick to help with anything I need. He is very skilled, efficient, courteous, and pays attention to detail, not to mention that he is a great person and always a pleasure to run into in the building. I highly recommend 2116 Chestnut as a place to live and will be sad to leave here whenever I move.

My apartment was not ready for me when I arrived to move in. I spent 4 nights sleeping on the floor in a temporary apartment with all of my belongings still in boxes. The air conditioning is very weak and does not cool the apartment fully. The appliances are poor compared to other apartment buildings in the area. The cabinets do not have close-assist. Much of the apartment is very cheap and dated (for example: track lighting is dated, accordion doors are cheap, wire / metal shelving is impractical and cheap) Toilet water pressure is very weak.

I have lived here for about a year. Great apartment and priced decently for size of my one bedroom. Maintenance team is amazing they always show up in a timely fashion after I have put in a request. The reason for my low is rating is due to the front desk workers and management. Some of the front desk workers are absolutely amazing. But there have been instances where I was spoken to extremely rudely and reported it to management where there response was blowing me off. And anytime I have had an issue and called down to the leasing office or went into the office was extremely disrespectful. I am on the fence of re-signing my lease when the time comes due to these issues.

Amazing place to live! Great location, new building, and great facilities. Besides of our amazing apartment, we enjoy all the common areas to have some BBQs and events. Staff is very supportive with any problem, Jose can come and fix any small issue very fast! Rent may be a little bit expensive but is totally worth by the service, amenities, and views of the building!

Great maintenance department. Jose is the best person in the building by far! He goes out of his way to help residents and is extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgable. I live alone and am glad to know Jose for anything I need!

The building is very good in general - location, everything new, full amenities, nice view (higher floors) and all the staff is very helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend the building, specially if you are a UPenn student (very convenient to go to campus). On top of that, maintenance team is very responsive and friendly. I had some lamps and the refrigerator filter that needed to be changed recently and Jose from maintenance promptly helped me with that and other minor stuff. Front desk crew is also extremely polite.

We recently moved in a few days ago and the staff and tenants have been more than welcoming. Especially the maintenance staff, Jose. We had issue with a crack in our toilet and he was here in 5 minutes to replace it. We also had issue with our movers and Jose stepped in and helped us quickly move in all our furniture. He is super nice and makes living here feel like home. Walking distance to Trader Joe's, restraunts, bars, target, and anything you could need. Rent a zip car across the street.
