For starters my apartment never was in perfect conditions to begin with. My manager always promises to fix or upgrade the issues we state to him. Lucky we have a plumber in the family so we don't have to struggle for long when we do have problems with clogs or our kitchen. We certainly don't fit in our apartment! I am a 23 year old living in my parents' living room! This apartment is all we can afford. With me being a college student and having it difficult to keep a job I feel a little helpless to my parents with sleeping on their couch but at the same time I know I always try my best to keep them proud and have their day go with as much ease as possible. I would love to have my own room and privacy as well as a safe place to park our family car. My apartment has many flaws. We never had proper curtains nor in my parents' bedroom or in our living room. The apartments paint was never finished and promised to us, to be finished when we moved in. Our kitchen tile seems to be falling apart little by little and as I seem to notice it was painted over by our managers and it seems to be peeling as well. The apartment's kitchen floor seems to be some sort of peeling one piece material (sort of like wallpaper). We try to get our manager to fix and upgrade our apartment but after every talk the manager completely disregards everything we talked about for as long as it takes us to get the courage to remind or ask him all over again.
