About This Home
Hello apartment seekers! This is a two bedroom, second floor apartment in a brick row house on Wooster Street and the $1,750 per month for this includes heat and hot water! I'm working with the current tenants to get updated photos and I will post them as soon as I have them. The apartment will be unfurnished and features high ceilings, many beautiful big windows, and hardwood floors. It has a large, sunny, eat-in kitchen which looks out on a small garden area in the rear of the building (where you are welcome to grow some plants if you are interested in gardening). There are two small bedrooms, a large living room, and a full bathroom. A coin-op washer and dryer are available for your use in the basement. This great space is also in an excellent location -- less than a block from Sally's, Pepe's and Zeneli's pizzerias, and walking distance to the Wooster Square Farmers' Market Yale, the downtown area, and the New Haven train station. Here you'll also find good, quiet neighbors and a wonderful neighborhood. Check out the photos and send me a message ***with a little information about yourself*** if interested and I will get right back to you. I'm the owner, not a realtor. Please note that I do not allow smoking, and sorry, no pets either. First month's rent and $2,500 security deposit due at signing.

Wooster Square/Mill River is located on New Haven's east side, just a short walk from Yale University. Mill River is to the east, and Long Wharf is to the south. Wooster Square is an artsy and energetic neighborhood, complete with a historic district at its heart. The Wooster Square Historic District contains some stunning architecture along a beautiful, cherry-tree-filled park. Many of the elegant homes and brownstone apartment buildings date back to the mid-1800s.
Wooster Square Park hosts the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to celebrate the Japanese Cherry Trees planted here in 1973. The over 70 trees create a beautiful setting for the festival, which includes exhibits, activities, live music, and food. This event attracts about 10,000 visitors. The park also hosts the weekly farmers' market.
Nearby Yale University provides some spectacular places to visit, such as the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History.
