Our new apartment is great. It’s just what we wanted, barge living space, bright kitchen, large screened in balcony and close to everything! We can walk to Publix Starbucks Milo’s etc. I think I will be very happy here!

I have lived here for many years. It unfortunately seems to be going a little in the wrong direction. Communication with staff/manager has become very difficult. The “secure” parking garage door has been broken and is up for anyone to go through at any time of day. Feel we should not be charged for the time it is not functional or secure.
Aretha was amazing! She was professional and informative. She took her time and provided a thorough tour of the property and amenities! The property is just what I was looking for. It really is “midtown”; centrally located amongst great food, hospitals, schools and entertainment! The property is beautiful, clean and quiet! Definitely worth the visit!

Its a nice apartment with great amenities. Responsive staff and repairmen when I needed it. Typical apartment life where there are some loud times, but quiet time is almost always well respected. Some issues with getting the carts available, but that's the tragedy of the commons. Liked it enough to re-sign my lease if that tells you anything. 10/10 being close to the Publix and near everything downtown.

A lot of things have declined since 2023. The apt management changed suddenly and acc. to reviews on google i assume its due to many complaints. The common areas have started to smell esp near the trash chutes . The neighbours above stomp and can hear the sounds repeatedly. The insulation is pretty bad. The apartment pricing for existing tenants is not reflective of the market . I guess only new tenants get specials and often existing ones are neglected.
The tour and application was easy! Everyone at the leasing office is nice and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns and the move in process was quick.

I love living at 20 Midtown! It is in a safe area and within walking distance to several downtown Birmingham attractions and amenities including the Rotary Trail, Railroad Park, diverse bars and restaurants, entertainment/music venues, and so much more. It's great having Publix grocery store right here, along with favorite eateries like Cava. If I don't feel like driving anywhere to get what I need, I don't have to! And the common spaces are nicely scented as well: whenever I have guests come by, they talk about how good the air smells and how clean the facilities are. Whether you are here for a short summer lease or for the long haul, 20 Midtown is a perfect place to call home!

This place is so nice! It was very easy to move in, especially since they have the carts. I do wish they had a docking site so they all sat in one place. Otherwise, the pool, media rooms, and fitness rooms are very convenient.

Lived here roughly 15 months now. Living near Publix has been amazing. Have had limited issues with noise/neighbors. Love the location of downtown. Amenities are nice. Staff are always helpful and quick to respond. Had to use the emergency after hours maintenance crew before and had no issues. Common apartment living complaints, but would happen at any apartment. Chose to resign.

Lived here for over a year. Limited to no problems. Quick to fix any maintenance issues. Quiet time almost always respected. Some street racing/club "bosses" noise depending on which street you face. Chose to renew my lease. Super nice being close to Publix and quick bites to eat. Near tons of places downtown and close to the highway. 10-15 mins from the airport.

The location is very convenient near to Publix , Railroad Park , Starbucks , restaurants and an IMAX theatre. A bit annoying are Race cars making noise during the night. Also the common area needs bit of cleaning especially the carpets.

I like the amenities and the people here. There can sometimes but people that solicit. My rating was also lowered because there is not wipes in the gym area and soap in the gym women bathroom. Other than that I am enjoying my time at 20 midtown. The leasing office ladies are also very sweet.

Everything is pretty nice and the latch access is nice to have....I wish it would work better all the time but I'm sure it's still learning my devices. 5th floor is definitely the nicest of all the floors

The staff at the property are very nice and helpful. Even from when I first toured the property, they were very welcoming to me. The apartments in a great location, great amenities and maintenance is good too. I also love that there’s parking decks, because parking downtown is very difficult

I have not been a resident for long at all - in fact, tomorrow will make 1 week! But so far I know (3) things: 1) this location is excellent. I'm walking distance from food, groceries, and nightlife. And so close to my job! 2) the property is well maintained. I have seen maintenance and cleaning crew 3 days this week. 3) I feel safe here. I think I will really enjoy living here.

Although the buildings have nice features, the property management doesn't keep up with those features or tell residents why certain things don’t work. So, there is a gate to the pool that is locked inexplicably and has been for months. TVs in many of the common spaces don't actually get any stations or have guidelines for how to use them, and aren’t connected to Internet. Things like that.
Moved here in July and have really enjoyed it. I love the location of the apartment and how close it is to my job and also Publix! The office staff is very nice and I have a lot more space here than I did at my previous place of residence

I like everything about the apartment and the building except 2 things. I don’t like the fact that people can enter my apartment randomly without my permission to fix things or change the filter. I don’t like the fact that we can open the doors by using the app only. So many times my husband and I got stuck outside for so long because either our phones died or we didn’t have our phones on us. It would be better if we can open the doors with different ways like easy codes or keys too.

Building is pretty great! Definitely one of the better apartment complexes in Birmingham. The front desk staff can be pretty helpful most days. I appreciate the activities they plan for the residents. The themes each season are always spectacular.

I really love my apartment on the top floor overlooking downtown! Love the natural light that comes through the tall windows! I love how quiet it is here too, other than the loud drag racers that drive through late nights on weekends. The regular drag racing is the only reason I am not giving a 5-star rating. Can 20 Midtown management do something about the loud drag racers like contact local authorities and have night patrols? Other than the noisy drag racers, I love living at 20 Midtown!
