About This Home
Get a memorable experience and feel at home in this property with 450 feet of riverfront, featuring a shallow, sandy area perfect for little ones, while deeper waters invite catfish enthusiasts. Kayak along or relax in the 12-foot swim spa. Create lasting memories with your family. There is a ton to love and a few expected quirks with a hand-built house out in the country. You might see all types of wildlife (deer, skunk, beaver, snake etc.), you may need to spray a wasp nest, and you will probably hear the train a couple of times. There are two bathrooms in the main house: one has a big Jacuzzi-style tub and the other has a shower with a dedicated on-demand water heater. There are two other cabin rooms completed that have their own entrances and electricity and AC but no plumbing, although there is a port-a-potty right outside, and a third room is a tiny house with a third full bath. Kayaks need to be returned where you got them, and fishing gear needs to be cared for and returned. You'll have full rein of 5 acres, plus you can take the creek 2 miles to downtown Belton if you like. In Texas, you have the right to navigate the waters up or down, so it's great for a long float or a hike. Please lock up kayaks after use. It is a cute and quirky hand-built house, and the land is really out in the country with all types of wildlife. The water is deep well water that is filtered and oxidized, so it doesn't have a well water smell or taste to it; this does mean it will be cloudy with air for a few moments after it comes out of the faucet. This is totally normal and doesn't mean anything is wrong with the house. Please check the Bell County website about camp fires, as there may be a burn ban in effect (it is Texas!). For pets, please provide information about each of your pets, including whether they shed, if they chew, if they are not fully potty trained, and if you will be leaving them in a crate when you leave. Hunting or shooting guns is not permitted. This property requires a signed liability waiver after booking due to the creek and other property features. [SI]
