Beautiful 1 bedroom apartment at the intersection of the best neighborhoods in DC. Access to lots of restaurants and night-life but on quiet 17th Street, so it has great, quiet neighborhood feel. The building was built by the iconic developer Henry Wardman in 1916. The apartment has historic charm (beautiful wood floors, a wood burning fireplace) plus modern amenities including a recently renovated kitchen, a brand new shower enclosure, and a washer/dryer. Big windows in the living room and a south facing apartment provide lots of light. Beautiful horizontal blinds are installed on each window which can block the light if desired. The heat and A/C is individually controlled by thermostat in the apartment. The building also provides an outdoor sitting area and a communal grill. The previous tenant was in the unit for 7 years (and very sad to leave). The building is steps away from "350 Bakery" (one of the best coffee shops in the area) as well a Vida Gym. It's a 10-15 walk to both Dupont and U Street Metro stations and a block from the S1, S2, S4, S9, and 96, 92, 90 bus. lines.
