Wonderful 2-BR English basement rental in the center-of-everything Dupont: short walk to three supermarkets, multiple coffee shops, terrific restaurants, two metro stops (Dupont & U Streets), the convenient S1/2/4/9 bus line to Federal Triangle, Judiciary Square, State Department, etc. Central to 18th Street, U Street, 14th Street....all cool strips. The apartment has lots of light (7 windows on three sides and three doors with glass windows), lots of storage (including a private storage area and laundry room), and access to a fantastic shared roof deck. Gas fireplace. The kitchen is just a few years old with maple cabinets, granite counter tops, and all the amenities -- dishwasher, garbage disposal, recently- purchased fridge and gas stove. The living room and hallways feature light Italian tile floors and a gas-fired fireplace; bedrooms are newly carpeted. It's a sharp place! Energy efficient AC and heat in each bedroom and living room operated by individual remote control. Gas and electricity are separately metered and paid by the tenant; cable installed and ready but activated and paid by tenant/water and trash collection covered by owners. No smoking and no pets. One year lease to begin. Apartment is unfurnished. Happy to show any time during to serious parties. Owners reside upstairs. Fantastic place and looking for great renters. Building owners take care of water, but electricity and gas covered by renting tenants as well as cable/wifi. There is no parking, but cars registered in Washington, DC can get Zone 2 parking -- which is really the highest demand zone in the city covering Georgetown through Shaw Districts of Washington.
