Good apt for the price, but location has drawbacks

Its a great little complex that has a new owner that has put some money into the place and property. Downside is its right next to a gas station that is open 24 hours in a town full of people who care not that anyone is trying to sleep or relax. Booming radios all day and night, backfiring cars, ear shattering motocycles. On top of that its on farmington ave and the traffic is just as loud. Try to get the back right apt if they ever are avalible There are a few residents who don't care how much noise they make, including one they call the "rino" cause you can even hear her stomping from the apt ABOVE. Beware that they will milk you for every dime of your deposit too. Take many pictures and video's. Even if you scrub the place they will still charge you for a cleaning after you leave. 500 dollars to paint one wall because tape pulled off the cheap paint job.

quiet building-modernized on Farmington Avenue

I know one tenant who has been there 15 years;laundry room available anytime makes it nice; respectful hard working superintendent on premises; bus stop out front with a convenience store next door makes it comfortable to live; especially like not having any dogs to make it noisy! Plus I like having my own marked parking spot---wall to wall carpeting with heat hot water and even gas cooking included and just asked and got a new energy star refrig.
