Westlake is a small, urban neighborhood named for its location on the western shores of Lake Union. A sizeable houseboat community calls Westlake home in addition to numerous condos, apartments, single-family homes, and office buildings. Lake Union provides Westlake residents with a host of outdoor activities, from boating to scuba diving and everything in between.
While Westlake touts a metropolitan atmosphere, most of the area’s popular restaurants and shops are located in nearby Queen Anne, Fremont, South Lake Union, and Eastlake. Situated just two miles north of Downtown Seattle, Westlake offers residents easy commutes and quick access to big-city amenities.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at 1611 on Lake Union
We are all paying a lot of money for the location of the building and our views of Lake Union. The building materials in the apartments are cheap and old and only replaced if a resident complains not when needed or at end-of-life.
The community is amazing, the area offers so much to do, and I love how everyone in this town is so active. Daily walks in the mornings are a highlight to me honestly.

Horrible experience given how the management has dealt with latest break in issues and overall management is also very slow in responding to emails and in most cases they don’t even respond

Poor management and ownership that is looking to collect every dollar that it can. You will never be able to enjoy sleeping past 6:30am due to the ongoing construction and road noise. The only highlight is the maintenance man, Frank.
