You get the two largest rooms in my second floor flat in this three floor building constructed in 1910. It's available to move in April 25, 2017. You get the Master Bedroom, with walk-in closet, plus an attached private living room with Bay Windows connected by sliding doors. That's 512 sqf of your own private, quiet and exclusive space. You get two rooms for the price of one. Wake up to the sun rising over the Bay Bridge in the warm and quiet bedroom, and watch the sun enter the Bay Windows and fill your private living room with light in the afternoon, with views of the Marin Headlands. Your two rooms also include a parking space in the garage. Parking alone in this neighborhood goes from $300-$500/month, but it's included in the rent. There's me and another roommate and we all share the bathroom, the large well equipped kitchen/dining room, and the washer/dryer. I work at home and consider myself an inventor/entrepreneur. I have filed 16 patents and founded three venture funded companies concentrating on energy efficient lighting. I speak French so-so, but I speak Mandarin Chinese fluently. The other roommate leaves early and returns late. The view from the back is so beautiful. You will want to brag to all your friends. You can see Russian Hill, North Beach, China Town all the way to the B of A building and the Transamerica Pyramid. Beyond that, the view looks on to the Bay, Yerba Buena Island and the Bay Bridge. At night, you will spend hours watching the Bay Lights on the Bay Bridge. Behind those views, you can see the East Bay from Oakland to Berkeley and north to Richmond. A large and lush backyard with plum trees is shared by all the folks in the building. 10-20 minute walks to Polk St, North Beach, China Town, Union Square, and the Financial District. There's a cable car stop at the top of the block (stepping off the cable car and walking about 65 steps to the building never gets old). There's a bus at the bottom of the block, too. It's only 5 blocks to Van Ness Ave. if you happen to be catching one of those private buses down to Silicon Valley. Rent is $1,450/month + 2 months security ($2,900) = Total of $4,350 to move in now - April 25, 2017. Lease is month-to-month, but I want someone at least six months. I pay for the Internet, and the PG&E is split 3 ways. How is it possible to get all this for so little? I've lived here 27 years and have rent control.
