Looking to sublet rooms in a beautiful, funky house a stone's throw from north campus. Dates are flexible, and room availability starts around May 10th and ends around September 1. Located near the Baits Dorm, this house is both very close and conveniently accessible to everything and also a world away, surrounded by beautiful woods and overlooking the city on a forested hill. I sincerely love living here, it has a special feeling. The house has 6 total bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a lot of shared living space, so being a cooperative housemate to my friends and other subletters is important. There will likely be 4-6 others living in the house over the summer. All rooms and living spaces are fully furnished. Fully stocked kitchen and laundry in house. Utilities and internet included. Price seems fair but could be negotiated based on competition. Please contact me if you are interested.

Scio dates back to 1835, but the reason behind the name is a mystery. The early township records were destroyed in a fire, so the reasons the name was chosen remain a mystery. Some believe it is named for the Greek island of Chios -- the town was apparently named shortly after the US established diplomatic relations with Greece after their War of Independence, which ended in 1830. However it was named, Scio is one of the largest towns in the county and is situated west of Ann Arbor. Its location along the Huron River makes Scio a popular destination, offering beautiful riverfront parks.
