This 1-bedroom has a queen-size bed as well as a private sitting area in which guests can relax. This room offers plenty of storage space with both a dresser and closet. The living area is spacious with plenty of seating and a big-screen Samsung Frame smart TV where you can stream all your favorite shows on Netflix, Hulu, or the like. The kitchen is fully equipped, and with a bar at which guests can sit and dine. Complimentary tea and coffee are always provided for your enjoyment. There is also a dining nook with a table that can seat up to 4 more people for enjoying your dine-in meals. A washer and dryer is also available in the apartment for your laundering convenience. Two more guests can be accommodated on the queen-size air mattress for an additional fee. Pets are allowed, but there will be an additional non-refundable pet fee of $80 per pet per stay for a maximum of a five-night stay for the extra work involved in the cleaning and other related services related to the pet(s). If your stay is more than five nights, a fee of $10 per additional night will apply. With a walk-score of 92, daily errands can be accomplished on foot. It's a 12-15 minute walk to either of the nearest Metro subway stations, Mt. Vernon Sq. or Shaw-Howard on the G/Y Line, and less than a 20-minute walk to the Red Line station NoMa-Gallaudet. The Washington Convention Center is a 12-minute walk away. The southern end of Shaw gives way to the high-end shopping mecca CityCenterDC and the retail-filled Penn Quarter & Chinatown neighborhood. The dining and bar scene in Shaw sizzles, with new spots opening up on 7th and 9th Streets and in the neighborhood's quirky, historic alleyways. The closest bus stop is New Jersey + P NW (corner of NJ & P NW, on either side of NJ Ave NW). Please be courteous to the adjacent neighbors and the tenants living around and above you at all times by keeping noise volumes to a reasonable level. From 10 PM to 8 AM, please adhere to very strict quiet hours when noise is to be kept at an absolute minimum. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products, baby wipes, contraceptives, nor paper towels should be flushed at any time. If it is found that any of these items have been flushed and clog the septic system you could be held responsible for the cost of repair. Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere inside the apartment. Parties or events are not allowed at the property. No cats are allowed, and only dogs 50 lbs or under are accepted.
