About This Home
Available June 1st, 2026. Welcome to 1422 South Etting! Brand new Samsung kitchen appliances and washer/dryer as of March 2025! Completely repainted as of March 2025. This spacious South Philadelphia home has everything you need - even parking! Located on a rare, wide South Philadelphia street, this home also has a parking lot on the corner located at 1345 S 28th Street. Although you cannot reserve a spot here, I never have trouble finding parking. The city just repaved the street and sidewalks and also replaced the old water lines with brand new ones. The living room has exposed brick and plenty of room for entertainment. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs along with a fully finished basement, which was used by a previous roommate as a bedroom. This home is minutes from the airport, I-76, Stadium District, Drexel and Penn University, and the major hospitals of University City. It's also within walking distance of Washington Avenue and Southwest Center City/Graduate Hospital. There are dog parks, grocery stores, and convenience stores within walking distance as well. Feel free to contact me directly with any inquiries! All showings must be on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday with at least 24 hours notice.
1422 S Etting St is a townhome located in Philadelphia County and the 19146 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Universal Audenried Charter School attendance zone.

Grays Ferry draws residents who value in-city living, green space, and easy access to waterways. The community takes its name from ferry owner George Gray, who shuttled across the Schuylkill River where it borders the neighborhood's northwest corner. This historic South Philadelphia neighborhood sits just minutes from the downtown area and features affordable to upscale rentals in a variety of styles. ranging from houses to apartments. Grays Ferry feels urban and is home to several business parks, but the Grays Ferry Crescent Trail Park along the riverfront provides locals with a quiet, scenic place to gather for picnics, walks, bicycling, and fishing. Other popular locations include the Grays Ferry Crescent Skatepark and Lanier Playground. For nightlife, locals head to 1201 Bar, where they enjoy shooting pool, sipping cold drinks, listening to music, or watching a game on one of the bar’s big-screen TVs. Grays Ferry boasts an excellent location as well.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
