Property Ratings at 1324 Frankford Ave
I have been living here for about 2 years now and will probably be renewing my lease for another 12 months or so. The location is amazing and the building is well managed. Theres a bunch of restaurants right on Frankford ave and there is pretty much always something to do around here. Parking isn't too bad especially now that they only allow residents to park right outside the apartment building on Frankford. Rent is pretty low compared to the rest of Philly especially with the big window views (main reason I decided to rent here) and nice rooftop area. I don't really have any complaints other than sometimes hearing my neighbors upstairs, but other than that the noise isn't too noticeable espcially with the usual city sounds. Overall, great apartment building with amazing views and natural light (my electricity bill was a lot lower than my previous apartment because of the big windows and light which saved me a good amount of $$ ) and OCF is pretty good with getting repairs and maintenance issues completed within a day or two. They have a locked package room so packages never get stolen and a bike room as well.
The location is a great because it’s in the heart of fishtown but that also means the parking is very difficult. The apartments are fairly small but if you like the cozy aesthetic it’s good. The walls are so thin …I could literally hear my neighbor sneezing, coughing, alarm clocks, etc.
The walls are extremely THIN, it can take up to 30 minutes to find parking, the units are small, and packages are frequently stolen.
