The location is perfectly situated between the brand-new Wharf area in the SouthWest Waterfront and the Navy Yard neighborhood in SouthEast. You're two blocks from the National's Stadium (where there is a metro station), three blocks from a Safeway Supermarket, half a block from a corner/liquor store, and across the street from Fort McNair (an Army base for officers.) This place is not managed by some big company. This is a privately owned house, and the owner lives in the area and manages it himself (along with a few other places he has in the neighborhood) with the help of a handyman that takes care of the maintenance or any issues. So know that there is flexibility on pretty much all matters. A little communication and good will go a long way towards having a great landlord/tenant relationship.
