      The historic neighborhood of Old Town is located in the North Side of Chicago, adjacent to Lincoln Park. Its buildings date back to the Victorian era, but the pace is anything but old-fashioned.

      Old Town is lively both day and night – residents enjoy the cool, eclectic shops as well as rustic taverns along Wells Street. When you first step into the community, you’ll probably notice the iron “Old Town” sign. You’ll also discover the diversity here, both in food and culture. The comedy zone is a great place to go for a good laugh – check out the Second City or Zanies Comedy Club for weekly shows.

      1225 is arguably the best building in Old Town, Chicago. The amenities are clean and wonderful to use, the staff is friendly and consistent, and the location is unbeatable! Community events happen frequently, allowing residents to connect and chat. Both residents and staff members are friendly. This building is exceptionally dog-friendly, and my pup has made plenty of friends here!

      From the time I came to take a tour to the time that I moved in, the leasing team has been exceptional and made my move super easy.       1225 Old Town is a great residence and an oasis in a chaotic city. I’ve lived in a few different apartments in this building and have enjoyed my time in each.       I have loved living at 1225—all of the staff is exceptional, bar none. I am always greeted with a smile, whether it's at the front desk or by the maintenance crew around the building. They always take the time to say hi to me and my dog, and are quick to help with anything needed. My neighbors are also so great, and it feels truly like a community!

      The location is great for bars/restaurants and the red line. Having the new Dom's grocery store located in the building is a huge plus. The building is always very clean and the amenities are nice. I live in a convertible and it has lots of kitchen space and closet space for a small apartment.

      This building has a perfect location, adjacent to many grocery shopping choices and less than a half hour walk to the lake, zoo and Michigan Avenue. The building itself is meticulously maintained and the staff goes out of its way to help you. They have worked especially hard during the pandemic to provide a safe environment for residents.

      I originally came here to rent (going on 8 years) for a time until I figured out where I wanted to move. Well, because of the first property manager, I signed up..and, now, because of Amra(current property manager, I stay. . During this current Co_V situation, many people might find it difficult to move (I understand), But, 1225 has set up good guidelines that are taken seriously enough to make if feel safe.

      The 1225 Crew is the best. I submitted a note to simply inquire about the addition of a second towel rack in my bathroom. I even offered to pay for it and install it myself. Within an hour, I had a brand new rack, perfectly installed. The staff was super courteous, fast, and helpful!

      Wonderful building in great location

      I am very pleased living in 1225 Old Town. The apartment units are all very modern, with high end appliances and finishes. The views to the West and South are stunning! The building has all of the luxury features you want - gym, pool, hot tub, theater room, business center, lounge, kitchen/party area - and the staff is beyond nice, always going out of their way to make sure you're happy and comfortable in your home. The prices are higher than you'll find in many other buildings, but for my money, it's worth it.
