Vancouver Washington is a 5 minute drive. On our little island is "Jantzen Beach Shopping Center" which has several big box stores, a couple of restaurants, a Target (which includes a full grocery supermarket). You can park in our gated lot by the street then walk down a ramp to the river. This house is the first one at the bottom of the ramp. Carts for hauling groceries and belongings are available. The house is a 3 minute walk from your car. You get the entire bottom floor which includes a living room with serene views of the water and a couple other floating homes, private bathroom (shower only), a shared laundry room, a bedroom with lots of clothes storage and queen bed. The living room sofa can double as a comfortable second bed. The small kitchenette includes microwave, a large deluxe toaster oven, a 12” high-power hot plate, full fridge, cookware, utensils and table ware for 2, and pantry area. There is a tiny office nook and a Roku smart TV that gets all local TV as well as streaming media services (but no premium cable channels). It’s very quiet (no leaf blowers, cars, motorcycles on the water). Popular recreation at the house includes summertime lounging on your private deck, fishing, inertubing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddling. Minimum lease: 3 months Cost: $1800/mo + $2000 returnable deposit Strict limitations: no smoke, quiet especially after 9pm.
