About 116 Shadowood Dr Chapel Hill, NC 27514
The unit is a two floor, 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom town home on the second and third floor in the Shadowood Apartment complex in Chapel Hill. Unit comes with washer/dryer, dishwasher (new!), working fireplace, balcony, and is animal friendly. Unit is on the corner of the building so you get lots of nice sunlight and would be perfect for a couple or two roommates. A brief walk to UNC or take one of the several bus lines right next to the building down to campus is super convenient! Very friendly and helpful staff on site with great pool area, fitness gym, volley ball and tennis courts, fire pit and gas grill. The unit itself faces some woods so is very quite but still close to get to bus stop. I am a graduate student and have taken a job out of state and will be leaving in January so the unit will be available by early January. Need to find new renters soon so I will be willing to pay the Change of Tenant fee ($300) and the new renter would keep the security deposit ($400) at the end of the lease. This is not a sublet. New renter would take over the lease which runs until August 2016. Rent is currently $977/mo which includes water and waste and is cheaper than current new tenant price. You also could renew the lease if you wanted later on too. Feel free to contact me anytime to swing by and check the place out!

Residents of Outer Chapel Hill live in a forested residential area with tree-lined streets, spacious properties and Southern-style homes. Local churches sit on almost every corner and provide landmarks and inspiration for road names. A lot of residents have small farms on their property with horses, goats and cows roaming the fields. Some of the larger farms work to turn a profit, but locals enjoy the luxury of being gentlemen farmers who can enjoy the land and the animals as a hobby.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the sizable Carolina North Forest sit to the southeast, and I-40 runs parallel with the northern border of the neighborhood. This provides the Outer Chapel Hill area with a unique mixture of agrarian lifestyle and cultural richness.
