This is a very unique property that predates most houses present within Historic Cheesman Park. Originally a service station for horseless carriages in the early 1900s, this property was later renovated into a private residence. The main level includes a: - Recently updated kitchen, and includes a full-size refrigerator, full-size gas range, a Bosch dishwasher, garbage disposal, and plenty of cabinet and countertop space - Recently added laundry room, which includes a high-efficiency washer and dryer from Asko, some storage, along with a floor-to-ceiling shelving unit. This room has a side door leading into the shared backyard space. The building was also recently painted. - Very spacious living area (approx 24'x20') with a deactivated wood burning stove, two skylights (both energy efficient and new), abundant lighting, and a well-lit main door leading out to the alley. - Recently renovated bathroom with brand new tub, toilet, wall tile, floor tile, and paint. The work was completed summer of last year. There is a carpeted stairwell which leads to the upstairs bedroom. This stairwell has another skylight, along with access to an attic for storage. The upstairs bedroom contains vaulted ceilings, two dormers, four windows, ample closet space, and a large window AC unit. The space is recently carpeted. It is carpeted. The bedroom is a good size, with new carpeting. There is plenty of space in this room for a queen bed and standard bedroom furniture. There is a thermostat for the forced air furnace that is plumbed to every room within the house. Throughout the space is updated electrical, and updated lighting. There is plenty of street parking. Walkable to Cheesman Park, City Park, and Congress Park. There is a King Soopers that is 5 a minute walk away. Also walkable to a number of restaurants, bars, and everything else that you expect to find downtown. The backyard serves as a common area with full access to tenants. There is outdoor seating, a bbq, and bike storage. We recently had the yard redone with pavers and cafe lights, as shown in the photographs. Nice, quiet, tree-lined neighborhood in safe neighborhood. Many people have lived in this carriage house over the years, often staying for many years. The previous tenants was here for three years, while their predecessor was here for seven.
