Rated 3 out of 5?by congo Great location except internet Overall, I really like this location. The apartments are decent size and the walls are pretty thick so you don't hear your neighbors. It is really convenient to the metro (cross the street) and Rock Creek Park. There is parking too which is a plus. The gym is very small. Because the apartment building is sandwiched between two major hotels (Omni and Marriott) there are lots of conference attendees and tourists so you don't get the neighborhood feel. The biggest complaint about the place is its internet. It is beyond horrible. Most days I do a speed test and it is 195k. Owners don't want to upgrade and lay cable and so there is 7Mb for the entire building of about 200 apts. Apparently there is an upgrade expected to 60M which is still horrible. It is an absolute joke. I hate to say this because otherwise the place is fabulous but as older residents pass on, younger people move in making the internet even worse. February 17, 2013
